There's 18 million Christmas songs out there, which ones do you guys enjoy most?
I enjoy Sleigh Ride, Baby it's Cold Outside, O Holy Night, and Carol of the Bells.
silent night (if i'm in a solemn mood, and my all-time favorite)
12 pains of christmas (if i'm in a silly mood)
little drummer boy (any mood)
blue christmas (sung by elvis presley - if i want to remember my childhood)
Please Come Home for Christmas. Not sung by Don Henley.
And my least favorite would be that horrible, saccharine Christmas Shoes garbage.
I hate Christmas, and I hate Christmas music, but for some reason, Mariah Carey's rendition of "O Holy Night" absolutely sends me.
(I will also rather sheepishly admit that her "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is rather enjoyable, too...)

"I Don't Care What The White People Say, Santa Claus is Black Anyway ......" (with a reggae beat)
White Christmas
Dominick the Donkey
None. Hibernation until after Valentine's Day, please!
Bah, humbug.
Count Your Blessings, White Christman. O Holy Night, Gesu Bambino.
I LOVE "Carol of the Bells" and "Sleigh Ride" too.
The Manheim Steamroller Christmas CD is fun. I LOVE their "Deck the Halls".
"Greenselves"/"What Child is This" is very pretty.
But my favorite is
"Mary Did You Know"

ooo...I'm a sucker for "Mary, Did You Know", too...especially when sung by the golden throat of David Phelps.
But, my favorite Xmas song BY FAR:
What Child if This?
Those lyrics with that melody...genius.
i agree with calvin--those effing Christmas Shoes make me want to throw large objects thru windows or at other people. also for one reason or another, Feliz Navidad makes me wanna scream.
as for favorites--merry christmas darling as sung by the luminous ms. karen carpenter, santa baby (madonna's version) for fun, walkin 'round in women's underwear (again, for fun), the orchestral version of sleigh ride, and grandma got run over by a reindeer.
"Christmastime is here" sung by the peanuts gang.
and "the Christmas Waltz"
Hmmm...a few of my faves have already been mentioned. Baby It's Cold Outside, Oh Holy Night, All I Want For Christmas is You, What Child Is This (won me a solo performance during a choir show when I was in school) and Walkin Round In Women's Underwear. I also love Linda Eder's Bells of St. Paul, Ave Maria and Do You Hear What I Hear. As well as Taylor Momsen singing Where Are You Christmas, the Dixie Chicks' Merry Christmas From the Family and Darlene Love's Nobody Oughta Be Alone On Christmas. And when he was little my brother did a lovely tune titled Pudolph the Nose Wed Weindeer that was just darling. Aw geez, I sound like a big Christmas fanatic now.
I absolutely detest Feliz Navidad.
I also have to give a big fat props to Jewel's performance of the Bach/Gounod "Ave Maria"...she has a chillingly beautiful, crystal-clear soprano when she's not singing about saving souls and flowers and babies and getting beaten by her daddy.
What's wrong with you people?
Everybody knows the greatest Christmas song ever written is "Mamasita, Donde Esta Santa Claus?"
what child is this

I love Nat Cole singing "The Christmas Song." Or Mel Torme singing it as well. There's also the Ann-Margret version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside." Classic.

Have any of you heard of the Maybe This Christmas cds?
I really love some of the songs on the second cd (Maybe this Christmas, Too), especially "Donna & Blitzen" by Badly Drawn Boy, and "Rudy" by the Be Good Tanyas. Avril Lavigne singing "O, Holy Night", however, makes me want to throw things.
My favorite recording is The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole, but my favorites songs are Sleigh Ride and Carol of the Bells.
Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas
White Christmas
Rockin around the Christmas tree
Anything from the Raffi Christmas Album, especially Old Toy Trains (an album which I still listen to every christmas even though I am 25)
as dorky as this sounds, I love the Burl Ives "Holly Jolly Christmas" song. It's so frickin....jolly, and I love Burl Ives' voice.

I don't really have a favorite Christmas song but I made up this really weird song a few years ago about Sadam Hosane to the beat on Jingle Bells. I really like that one.
