"I did like that Addison was the only woman invited to Burke's bachelor party and the little exchange about how she wasn't gonna take her clothes off. Loved that."

This was my favorite part of the whole episode!

I thought the moment between the Chief and Meredith, when he gave her a second chance at the test, was quite touching. I can't stand her character, but in that moment, I really did feel for her.

I'm really curious to see next week's episode now because I really want to find out what went on with those hiker guys and I'm also really curious about Adelle and the other pregnant woman.

I'm also wondering how they're gonna introduce the spin-off. I mean, there's a lot of possibilities I guess, but where is Addison gonna go? LA? NY? Or are they even going to introduce it in the finale? Is it Thursday yet?

And I recorded "Traveler" last night but haven't had the opportunity to watch it yet. I take it it's a pretty decent show?

They already did introduce the spin-off... Addison went to LA.

^Yes, but according to CJR's post, that wasn't really the spin-off, that's why I'm wondering if she's actually going there or somewhere else.

Yes, that's according to Shonda Rhimes blog and the podcast last week. (I think it was the podcast where she mentioned it) That there was no spin off. She just had an idea that wasn't strictly Grey's and she wanted to run with it, but she had no intention of writing that episode to launch a spin off.

Um...maybe it was just me but didnt the woman who tried to pick up Derek look like Meredith's half sister shown when Thatcher came to the hospital. I could have sworn they were the same person.

^nah I'm like 99% sure it's not her re: Grey's Anatomy it looks a little like her, but Meredith's half sister has been on a couple times before and she has lightish red hair. This girl has very dark hair. She's gorgeous though- I dont like her by proxy of the fact that I have a feeling she's going to put a major damper on MerDer, but still. She's really pretty

last night was such a good episode!

themes being:
-poor Addie! god, the girl CANNOT escape pregnant women!
-poor Meredith.. I actually really felt for her this time. The scene with her and Chief was so heartbreaking
-OMG Adele! I sweare, if Adele dies too I'm giving up on this show. This is TOO much death all at once. So hopefully its just a really bad miscarriage
-What the hell DID happen on that mountain??? that is one bizarre-seeming incident. an ax?? seriously?
-Dereks being a jerk. but whats new?
-Cristina's a really good best friend. And way too funny "...wait can you say that again? only slowly?"
-I love Callie and Addison. That is all. "you still gonna be my friend if I get pregnant?" "absolutely NOT. *smirk*" hee!
-"what am I, the entertainment? I'm not stripping" "that's okay, we've seen it already" "true" "...I havn't" LOL!

I am 99% sure that the OTHER half sister .. the one who is in medical school (Harvard I think) she has never been shown only talked about.

Radigal2: She was shown in last night's episode, as the girl with Thatcher when he went to the hospital. Or whoever that girl swas with him I'm nearly certain is the girl in the bar.

watching it back, yeah, they're def two different people. It's just with the lighting the way it was it made the one we KNOW is Mer's half sister look like the one in the bar. But I've seen her in the other episodes enough to know it's her- I think her name is Molly right? but I like the idea of the bar girl being her other half sister.

I cannot even begin to say how much I do not want to happen, but... If the person at the bar was, in fact, Meredith's other half sister, she was dressed in black after all and looked a lot like the other sister, then she is an intern at Harvard Med. And if George leaves the show (which I really hope he does not) then there is a spot open at Seattle Grace. What if this other sister comes and takes the spot at Seattle Grace because she wants to be closer to her father in his time of need? That would make for an interesting plot line. Albeit, really upset a lot of people for sure. But yeah. Just a theory.

I re-watched it last night and the girl in the bar was definitely not Meredith's half-sister. I kind of wish it was though, oh well.

Well, she has another half-sister we haven't seen. So we do not know for sure.

Liked this past week's episode a LOT better than the Addison pilot (Private Practice?). Of course I'll watch it because I LOVE Kate Walsh's work, but I hope it fails miserably, and that she comes back to Seattle Grace.

Finally caught up with the last two episodes. The 'pilot' for the spin-off was really disappointing. I love Amy Brenneman, but her character was really annoying, and the ridiculous surf-board scene was just stupid. And don't get me started on the talking elevator.
I am really just sick and tired of Meredith. Ugh. I don't like Ellen Pompeo's performance, the character is such a whiner, and her emotions are so up and down, she's angry, sad, laughing all within 10 minutes of the show. Again, ugh!

Can I just say... I am officially sick of Izzie and George giving each other sad eyes with music in the background. They must do it 5 times an episode. I'm so over it... either have them get together or let George leave. I THOUGHT they were going to move on but then the preview shows that Izzie was lying. And Callie is going to be sooooo hurt. grrrr

Their relationship is my favorite. I am loving Addison more and more every episode.

SPOILER

Nevermind that the girl in the bar WAS Meredith's half sister, she is also a new intern?!?! Crazy stuff. At least, I'm 99% sure it was her. WHOA.

I'm sick of the whole George/Izzy thing too. The Christina/Izzy friendship scene at the end almost brought me to tears.

Great episode.

Who was that actress who played 'Lexie"? I've seen her before, but I can't remember where.

My favorite scene--George and Bailey. I love them together!
