I am! Any time they have Jess from Gilmore Girls on a show I am there. Plus it looks good. And then Studio 60 right after!
Yay! For the first time in a LONG time I have something I like to watch most weeknights.
i'm going to wtch it but it seems like a rip-off of the 4400 to me, just without the disapearing.
I know what you mean, Jersey! I haven't watched anything on Monday Nights in forever! Well, almost forever... there was Boston Public way back when.
WOW is this disappointing.

I lasted two minutes before switching to Wife Swap, the guiltiest of guilty pleasures.
See I actually like this one so far. Not the best by far...but it isn't awful. i will watch again i am sure.
You're right - it's not awful. Awful would imply - something.
This is a big fat pile of nothing.
I thought it sucked, but the preview did look promising.
The preview was promising.
Bastards.
Get out of my head, woman.

God, what a let down. I was waiting for it to pick up and really get off the ground and go SOMEWHERE the entire time. I know it was the pilot but still. Ofcourse I will be watching it next week.lol
No worries, Angie, I posted after you - I was agreeing with you, not channeling you.
I figured we were posting at the same time. :P

So they need to protect NYC from a nuclear explosion?
I can't wait!
I will probably become a regular watcher just because of what follows it.
It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't what I expected. Hopefully the slow start will mean better character development.
I will give it another chance. A lot of characters to bring together, but it peaked my interest. We'll see.
Edit: OK, piqued my interest. Too little too late.
See now, I can't turn my television off fast enough, when that STUDIO 60 thing comes on. Actually, I haven't watched it; but I loathed THE WEST WING, and it has the same writer, I believe? Besides, I'm really not looking for something to watch on TV.
wow i'm surprised so many people didn't like the pilot. i happened to ADORE it and will most certainly watch it every week.
also, if i may add, i love it how every horrible, apocalyptic occurance (nuclear bombs, tsunamis, alien attacks, etc.) always have to happen in New York. being a Boston baby, this makes me happy. no one has the guts to come after us :)
maybe the tides will turn and new yorkers might be crawling to us for help... kinda like in War of the Worlds hehe ^_^

I really enjoyed it. I think it can be good.

From the pilot, and from the preview of next week, it seems like a little bit of "X-Men" with a touch of M. Night Shyamalan's ""Unbreakable" thrown in.
