the sequel to Poseidon Adventure...I wanna see how it ends.
"Dreamer of Oz"
The story of L. Frank Baum, starring John Ritter, Annette O'Toole and John Cameron Mitchell.
"The People"
Starring William Shatner & Diane Varsi. (1971)
About an Amish-like group of villagers living in the woods, who can fly and have supernatural powers. Turns out they're aliens from another planet.
Can't even get it on DVD.

"Rainbow" the story of Judy Garland's early years up to The Wizard of Oz. Starring Andrea McArdle as Judy.
Dreamer of Oz. Oh my goodness, I remember seeing that in Elementary school. Do they have copies of that anywhere???
They've shown Rainbow a few times on either WE or Lifetime.

"Beyond the Poseidon Adventure" has been on quite a lot on a channel called "INHD" which is a Comcast High Def channel. I tried to suffer through it the other night but it was really bad. One of Sally Field's worst performances.
They never show some of the more controversial TVM's from the seventies like BORN INNOCENT, SARAH T. PORTRAIT OF A TEENAGE ALCOHOLIC, FOR LADIES ONLY, GO ASK ALICE, DIARY OF A TEENAGE HITCHHIKER...and, my personal favorite, the uproarious DESPERATE LIVES with Diana Scarwid as a self-rightous teacher determined to clean her school of drugs and Helen Hunt as the nice girl who tries acid and throws herself through a window.
BORN INNOCENT, featuring the infamous broom handle rape scene (my, censors were much more open-minded in the 70's), is on DVD, tho.
Desperat Lives is BRILLIANT. And don't forget Eve Plumb's breakouts after the Brady Bunch-"Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway" and "Alexander: the Other Side of Dawn". With Eve and Leigh McCloskey as teenage hustlers. Alexander was pretty groundbreaking in showing a male hustler doing it with men on TV!

I remember that Alice in Wonderland TV movie from....maybe 1986? Anyway, it had people like Sammy Davis Jr, Anthony Newley, and a ton of other names. You can't even get the out of print VHS for less than $50. Anyway, I remember loving it as a kid, but they haven't shown it since the 80s.
Borstalboy and Matt...those are classics, and I havent seen them since the 80's...I dont think Go Ask Alice (a book I was obsessed with as a kid) has been on since originally airing.
I watched Rainbow over the summer on TCM or something, along with the Shirley Temple story.

It IS on netflix, though. So all is not lost.
So is MALICE IN WONDERLAND--a great one from the 80s with Liz Taylor and Jane Alexander as Hedda and Louella--the great gossip columnists!
cabarethed - Have no fear, that Alice is out on DVD now. My sister-in-law LOVED it as a kid and was so excited to find it for her daughters.

I loved the movie with Liz Taylor and Carol Burnett. Called Best Friends, I think? It was great and they used to show it on HBO all the time. Haven't seen it in ages, though.
it's been years since I saw my favorite trashfest...Hollywood Wives.
Wish I had that on dvd.
