So far so good. Glad Sue has a new person to hate. Hers was the stoeyline I was most worried about, hoping it wouldn't just be another season just like last.
And what was the end of the line - "people thought I was on vacation but I was lost..."?? I couldn't understand the end.
Loved tonight's episode. Rachel and Sunshine singing in the bathroom was hilarious. And Brittany is always hilarious.

Not gonna lie, didn't really like it. I don't know if it is because I was sooo excited for it coming back or what but ehhhhhh. It was just blah to me. Sure it had its funny parts (really liked the beginning video), but i wasn't overly impressed with the song choices (I love "what I did for love" but didn't like her rendition of it) and dont like the two new kids. Cheyenne and the flouncing out with the Hello Kitty backpack & Finn's cheerleader tryout were the highlights (besides the normal of anything my future husband does).
Oh well, onto Britney next week (who I don't particularly care for so its going to be hard).
And I may start a petition for Lea to stop making her constipated face when singing. It irked me last season but is just killing me in the premiere.
But I'm also PMSing so maybe that has something to do with my overall dislike lol.

Yeah, I didn't like the new kids too much. Maybe that will change. But then sometimes I can't stand the regular ones. Rachel finally got on my good side last season, and then I ended up disliking her so much in this one. I mean, I guess I shouldn't be surprised by her behavior though.

Loathed season one... didn't watch the premiere earlier today but I'm loving the song selection and execution from tonight; I searched them on YouTube and was pleasantly surprised.
I just have to ask. Was I the only one who thought the scene where Sue forced Brittany to claim that the new football coach was touching her to be awkward? I know Sue is mean, but I thought that was even low for her. Yeah, I did laugh when Brittany said she wanted to touch that woman's boobs, but it really was an odd scene.

Yeah I thought that was a new low for Sue, along with the 'cookies'. Maybe she is more threatened because as Coach Beiste said, there is no reason that the football team should have less funds than the squad cheering for them.
I actually enjoyed the plot more than the songs, which I thought were performed well. The episode reminded me more of the first half of last season in that respect.
I loved at the beginning how meta they all were, ie 'Internet blog forums wanting Shue to stop rapping' and the autotune comment to even Rachel's narcissism throughout the episode.
I loved the beginning video, was laughing out loud and had to rewind to watch it over. Loved Sue telling the new coach that those seats were taken by her ghost friends! And the fight between Q and Santana was hysterical!
Q: "You can't hit me!" S: "Why? Are you knocked up again slut?!"
Here's my predicition: Coach Bieste IS Ken Tanaka post sex change operation.
Notice his mysterious disappearance. Notice her unusually low voice. Notice the strangeness of her being in the boy's locker room. Brittany's "I want to touch her boobs" line could indicate that she's fully aware Bieste was Tanaka...
I could be wrong, of course, but that's my guess for now.
I liked last night's episode, and it was probably the first full episode I've watched since the series premiere. I didn't particularly like Season One, and only taped it every week to fast forward to all of the guest stars' scenes and songs.
Good point about the sex change, since I was doing double takes thinking the same thing. Very distracting. Did a search on Dot Jones' credits and she's definitely typecast, but there's a picture of her with long hair that definitely shows the softer side of Dot.
