hmm don't like the idea of tanaka getting a sex change because that would be way too random for the show... and the show is already plot crazy with inconsistencies
oh and here's hoping Lea Salonga gets cast as Sunshine Corazon's mom who just got her green card!! haha...
That would take a real grand legend scheme on Ken's part to build up a fake resume from an out of state HS, identity, and be completely unaware of Sue's schemes. That is just way too much effort to get a simple clean slate at McKinley High. Plus Ken was just not good at his job and was falling apart emotionally half way through last season. I thought the boob comment was playing off Brittany who made those types of comments of a sexual nature with Santana last season.
I have mixed feelings about this episode. I actually liked the plot, although I still think that no way to avoid the "Sue tries to stop Glee, they overcome her" plot as the overall "thing" of the show (does that even make sense?). I mean, they have lots of room for character development and subplots, but the main plot and reason that the club (and show) exist are stuck in a cycle...okay I'll stop now....
...but I did love Sunshine. And the return of the Brittany one liners!!!

Not sure what's taken me so long, but I have just started watching this show on Hulu, and I love it. More than I thought I would. I want to get caught up before I start watching any brand new episodes. - "Late to the party" Barb
DAAAAAANG. I'm a straight girl and even I am turned on. Heather Morris, you are a goddess. And Naya is fabulous too :P
Sooo yeah, basically this episode is going to kick so much ass. Glee >>> actual Britney Spears, on basically every level
I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.
I just think Charice was great as Sunshine. No one mentioned her name and I think she should be recognized. "Listen" was done so very well.
It is hard to believe that two of my very favorite songs were done in one show. I have loved "What I Did For Love" every since I first saw "A Chorus Line".
oh...dear...god. That was just...... wow. I mean I still love it because it is Glee and I laughed out loud at the insanity of it all, but wow. Definitely not worrying about keeping that one in my TiVo.
My two highlights - Uncle Jesse as a smoking hot dentist and Matt's see through white shirt with wifebeater on during the performance.
Other than that.....oy.
And my TiVo cut it off at the end so i didn't get to see the preview for next week - can anyone tell me what it was?
BroadwayBoobs: I'll give all of you who weren't there a hint of who took the pictures ...it rhymes with shameless
From what I remember, the previews showed Puck making a grilled cheese with a Jesus image. A hospital scene with Kurt asking "Is he dead?" Then we see him looking down, talking to his (I think) comatose father. The episode's theme is Faith. Updated On: 9/28/10 at 09:33 PM
I actually wished they kept it more on Brittany. They sort of promised the episode was Brittany-centric. "I'm pretty sure Dr. Pepper is a real dentist." and the whole notion she and Santana where sharing anesthesia dreams were perfection.
Yeah, I thought it was going to be more about Brittany. She was the funniest part of the episode though. Liked the songs with her and Santana, and Toxic. Did not like Baby One More Time or Stronger at all.
And I don't know, for their generation, I'm just a tiny bit surprised that they would be so into Britney Spears.

So basically, Heather Morris is PERFECTION and the Brittany (S. Pearce) parts of the episode were brilliance
Once the other characters started coming into the picture? Kiiinda got awkward and weird.
Not a terrible episode by any means, but not the greatest over all either. But really, the first 20 minutes or so were SO dang good!
But really, can we talk about NEXT week? omggg D: I legit started to get kind of shaky and emotional... from a preview. Darn you Chris Colfer and your incredible angsty acting skills! haha. Not that I'm worried about Burt- Mike O'Malley was moved up to series regular and he's already talked about having shot scenes in other episodes and stuff, so Burt will be fine haha. But.. it's still so dang heartbreaking!
But yeah, next week is going to be sooooo good. Amazing music, a storyline that seems to have both very funny/fun moments and very intense ones... cannot wait!

Heather Morris kicked ass! Loved Slave For You and Toxic eventho it was somewhat awkward to see Mr. Shue up there performing that number with them. Did not like Stronger and was actually annoyed with Hit Me Baby. I laughed out loud with Fin and his "grilled cheesus"!! Can't wait and hope the episode is as awesome as the preview.
Other than serving as a showcase for Heather Morris, I thought the episode blew.
I also thought the Madonna episode pretty much blew, so maybe it's time to break away from the tribute episodes and get back to business.
It's sad to think the bloom may be off the "Glee" rose this early, but given the spotty quality of the back nine last season and the first two this season, it may not be required viewing much longer if the quality doesn't even out.
Watching it now and enjoying it, despite not liking Britney Spears. My only problem with the episode is the age of the characters- wouldn't current HS students be too young to really remember when Britney Spears was big, let alone be so inspired by her?
