For those in need of a hug...
Hoping that one day, we can all celebrate a cure...
Some companies have Matching Gift Programs. Don't forget to look into that, also.

I am more than pleased to eat candy for a good cause.
The pink ribbon cupcake recipe is both gay AND fights breast cancer!
yum
And pink Champagne goes VERY well with pink-ribbon cupcakes--even if you're only celebrating donating and not yet celebrating a cure.
Sounds like perfect fare for a party!
The BWW team has exceeded 100% of the goal! That's cause for celebration!
Thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all.
BWW Team
Yay!
Walter Bondi is SO jealous of that boa!
It goes perfectly with my pearls and pink champagne!
Sueleen--I love your avatar's gown and the divan is DIVINE!
It's not a gown, it is a lounging robe. Now get over here and let me hump your leg.
shall i raise the goal a second time, or leave it as it is?
We can always exceed the goal without raising it!
Thanks, again, Abba, for setting up the team!
then it will stay the way it is :)
keep donating though!
I say raise the goal a bit... It gives everyone something more to work towards to exceed it again.
And again.
And again.
Cookie--I think your Pink Bulldog's tutu is TOO TOO...!
Everything was beautiful at the ballet...
And as it was pointed out, the lights inside the Auditorium Theatre lobby were a pink hue, as a part of raising Breast Cancer awareness.
Warrior of the Week
The View has teamed with Ford and the Susan G. Komen Foundation to honor a Warrior in Pink every week.
Take a moment to read Kathy's story.
These Warriors have courage beyond words. Their commitment to life and goodness is an inspiration.
Read the stories. It's time well spent.

Okay, so I DVR The View every day and they've been covering the Warriors in Pink and telling their stories. The other day they did one that had me sobbing by the end, and when they came back after commercial break all four of the hosts were crying and could barely get through it.
Naturally, I wore a pink shirt to work after that.
Inspirational!
I've been watching them, also, Namo.
They are such beautiful stories and these women and their loved ones show such strength and grace.
They bring back alot of memories. Memories that aren't easy, but memories that are important.
They remind me to make the most of each and every day.
They remind me that we have to Fight for a Cure. All Cures.
Glebb, that is beautiful!
Sometimes you have to meet lifes frustrations with Random Acts of Kindness. Because of events this morning I have doubled my donation.
Thanks for that link, Addy. Kathy's story sounds so much like Nancy's. In her last month she traveled all over the country, visiting with each of her kids and grandkids. Hers spread the same way and I know how much she hurt. Nevertheless, her spirits rarely ever flagged.
