The fact Silky is still there means Ru is pretty much 100% going to crown her. There’s no other reason to keep such a delusional and unlikable Queen around for so long while giving her a good edit. Christ, I hope I’m wrong.

I think Silky will stick around for a bit, but I can't see her winning- not with her continuously pedestrian runways. On Fashion Photo Ruview, Raja's note for her this week was, "I'M BORED!" And same.

I do love how they are showing the “Good Christian Queen” being totally unforgiving bitch and shining light on her true colors. Silkie has to be on the worst queens we have ever had on the show. Every time she wins she acts like she is in the bottom 2. It’s insane and pray Evie sends her packing.

I started the season in love with Silky’s unabashed loudness and hilarity, but she has really worn on me with this vindictive “Bitter Betty” streak she’s got going for Yvie. I’ll admit, Yvie’s need to loudly tell the other queens they’re not working hard enough when they’re already down has gotten on my nerves too, but at least she’s not wrong in her observations. Silky just wants Yvie gone because Yvie doesn’t like her, not because Yvie has done anything to warrant being sent home really (Snatch Game notwithstanding). And Silky’s social media is basically nothing but variations on “I won’t give my haters the time of day... but here’s a post about my haters anyway.” It’s exhausting.
I don’t think the editors are blind to this nasty streak she’s got going. Yes, she still turns out some funny moments (TS Madison may have just been a raunchier version of Silky, but damn was it funny), but her runway is boring (particularly when she designs it herself) and her talking heads and cutaways are nothing more than bitterness. I’m ready for her to get knocked down a few pegs. I hope it happens sooner rather than later.
I’m loving this season so far, despite its flaws and lack of a clear frontrunner. Definitely more than the last 2 main seasons or the bland AS4 or the season-that-shall-not-be-named AS3.

My suspicion is that Silky will go before the top three. two reasons...
They keep showing Silky's repeated, go-to answer to any criticism as, "Go ahead, you don't like it? Put me in the bottom. I'll show ya some sync" as if she's saying she's got some super lipsync tricks and skills that she'll pull out, so she doesn't care what you think about her runway/challenge skills.
On the other side, we've got Yvie being touted as the lip sync assassin. I predict it will come down to a lipsync between the two of them that determines who will go on to the top three. Since drama loves the overconfident being knocked down, I predict Silky will be the one sashaying away.

These “acting” challengers are just pathetic. I didn’t know it could get worse than Breastworld or that truly tragic Sex and the City challenge from AS4.

It just feels like it's the same damn episode over and over and over. Coming so soon after the most recent All Stars, which came soon after the one before... They're running out of competitions. Maybe a year off, and maybe a more rigorous standard needs to be upheld in the contestants. Like maybe make them pass an IQ test.

Omg.
I had so much fun watching the improv challenge this year.
Loved seeing the actual talents of the girls starting to shine through now that some of the more negative forces are gone.
But got damn Silkie is still the worst.

What passes as talent and personality has really gone downhill. Twenty years ago Nina West would have been considered a run-of-the-mill, standard-fit, comedy queen. Now, compared to this lot of Instagram, 2-D, drag princesses, Nina looks likes Meryl Streep.
By the way, according to my friend, Brooke Lynn Height's "I'm a level four vegan" ad lib, was a joke lifted from the Simpsons. She is so boring.

These acting challenges are stupid. In an effort to stand out, all they do is desperately try to out-shout and out-crazy each other until it's a big unintelligible mess. I can't tell if I'm watching Drag Race or a bad episode of the WWE. But none of it is funny and none of it is enjoyable to watch.

I completely agree with everyone. This season came too closely to the last one. There are way too many participants and the quality level seems to have dropped very low. There are too many acting challenges, these queens aren't auditioning for a TV series, they're all going back to the same drag circuit that they came from. I find myself finding fewer and fewer people this season to like and relate to.
