Well, there's always at least one elimination every season I don't understand. I don't think Trixie was anything special, but I am so so tired of Pearl. I guess with her crying we're supposed to have sympathy for her, but she bores me to tears. And poor Katya, who seems to have a lot of skill as a performer but always gets stuck on the worst team. For my money, she's right up there with Ginger Minj at the top of the pack, with Kennedy and Max close behind.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I agree with that top 4. And I'm sad Trixie was given the boot (heel?).

Pearl is...maybe going to be an underdog story? Like Adore, but on quaaludes?

I've finally gotten used to the new Untucked format and don't hate it. I love the sneaky bitch camera work when Minj, Max and...Kasha? were reapplying their lipstick.

I didn't understand Kennedy's win. She just didn't stand out to me. Katya's drunken tanned trash and Jaiden's Bianca Del Rio drag were more deserving.

I am rooting for Katya and Max, perhaps by virtue of the fact they keep their mouths shut most of the time.

And talking about not standing out: how is Kandy still around? More like Kandy WHO?

OMIGOD...I actually thought 'Kandy Who?' reading your post. Oooooh chil'...things are not gonna get easier for her.

I'm starting to really fall for Katya. When she pulled off her sunglasses as tan mom, I nearly fell out. And she really can build on a joke and comes off as supportive and funny in every single backstage clip. I loved how scandalized she was at the thought of hitting the stage without padding.

I really like Katya, but girl keeps getting saddled with the worst groups. She manages to stand out, but with the baggage of being a gem in a pile of crap.

I don't think any of the queens thus far compare to previous winners. Bianca, Jinkx, and Sharon all outclass them.

I have a feeling that after basically every person who commented on the show the first few weeks said nothing except how horrible the new Untucked is, that they went and re-edited it moving forward. It's now got a completely different tone than the first few did and is all the better for it.

I just discovered you can watch the season premiere with commentary by Bianca & Alaska. It's really funny and worth watching!
