Well since you've asked CATS I will answer your question from my personal perspective. That is clearly a deep personal decision that is made from within yourself. There are some men that prefer to give and then there are those that prefer to receive and then there are those that get pleasure from giving and receiving. There is nothing wrong with any of these preferences.
I hate when we as homosexual men make this an issue. It shouldn't be this way and those that do have some deep rooted identity problems they clearly need to address.
As a fortunate 42 year old homosexual man who has been out and proud for the better part of 20 years now I can honestly say that I am comfortable in my own skin, how I identify myself and my personal preferences and I make no apologies.

Twinbelters, Funny thing, I was doing a thread search for Breaking Bad and up pops a picture of Bruce Campbell from this thread.
I watch Burn Notice primarily for The Bruce. (Straight women love him too.)
Bruce stars as Elvis in a cheap-looking, low budget flick called Bubba Ho-Tep. It is so much fun, Bruce is great! I think Ossie Davis must have lost a bet, because for some strange reason he's in it too.
I used to have a bigtime crush on baseball player Todd Zeile. In his career he played for 11 teams. Loyalty was not his specialty..ah well...

There's more to sexuality than just who/what type you're attracted to. The kind of person that someone is attracted to has NOTHING to do with what kinds of sex they enjoy engaging in.
