Dottie, I agree, and the event finals are not so drawn out. Other than the bad judging, I have really enjoyed the gymnastics. These kids are amazing!

I kind of wish some of these other gymnasts were included on the upcoming gymnastics tour. I still can't get over the pommel horse routines by the guys from Croatia and Great Britian.

I though msnbc wasn't going to post results until after they had aired ... oh well. I kind'a lost my steam with Olympic coverage.

Although I do enjoy the gymnastics, I really am getting annoyed about the judging and how it seems rigged. Oh well, at least Nastia was mature about the entire thing and showed class by not complaining about it, although I know it must have hurt a bit to know how it came down to her getting the silver medal.

And yeah, I just had to know who won tonight, but it will still be fun to watch anyway. Like I can see what it took to come up with the scores and what happened too.

Who signed off on that SI cover? Michael Phelps is way better looking than that. And the red on red? yuk. I find it hard to believe that was the best shot.

wow, chung fey, or however you spell her name, gives a ****ty routine and gets a big fat score... and the poor romanian chick does great and gets less...

looks like it'll be another night of biased judging and cheating... hooray!

after the chinese spent 300 million for the opening ceremony i wonder how much they had left over to buy off the judges?

She nearly fell off the beam and she gets a 15.9, while the Romanian girl barely wavers and gets a 15.6. Nice.

damnit. thats a good score but still not high enough. i thought she was pretty damn flawless. but i'm happy for shawn. shes been giving her all and she deserves a gold somewhere.
