I'm loving the trampoline competition, I have never seen this sport before.
Will someone please give Bela his own show??? I love him!!!
Anybody watching the commercials? I love that tall girl who dances in the Target commercial with that other girl. It was just on!

OK, that girl is NOT SIXTEEN years old! Liars and cheaters!
Tim, just said: "That was not right!"
This scoring is just outragous!

Nastia was clearly better. Nofe aire.
WTF?? Same score and the computer decides who's in the lead?? This is even bigger bull**** than everything else that has happened.
The olympics have become the biggest crock of **** ever.
Cuby, they always have been!!!

DISGRACE!!!!! Stolen gold!
penny, maybe so but in all my years I have never seen so many stolen medals.
Looks like the French figure skating judge got to the Australian judge.
F*CK. They made her cry.
I hope Bela rips into the judges again.
In the spirit of poor sportsmanship, I'd love Nastia to rip that gold medal off someone's neck!
I know it's maddening. And sad, really.

Uneven, as in the cheating!
What time is the Chinese gymnist's nap? I wonder if they have snack time at her grammar school?
I almost feel like she should refuse the silver medal. Look at her next to the Chinese!!! Look at her standing next to them and tell me that they are really supposed to be 16?? They're like half her size. They have baby faces!!
pab, honey, I've been saying since the beginning that they are little girls. After she receives her gold medal, that little girl can go home to her 12th birthday party!
More like 10th birthday.

I have calmed down! I knew the results, and I was prepared, but I just cannot believe the unfair scoring. These young people have worked for years and to be screwed by some unqualified judges! It is just an outrage. In my business, I lose all of the time and often because of biased jurists, but at least I can appeal. And, then even appeal again!
Speaking of poor sportsmanship, did y'all hear the
****SPOILER****
American silver medalist in the pole vault being verbally assaulted by her coach? She's been vaulting for four years and was the best in the world except for the totally dominant world record holder (who topped her own world record in winning), and he CHEWED HER OUT for not having been on in warm-up and "getting caught in the meat grinder." I wanted to slap him.
As disappointed as I am for Nastia, I am not sure the gold was stolen from her. As a lay person, I couldn't say that Nastia was better or worse than the Chinese girl. It certainly was not as glaring as the Chinese girl landing on her knees last night! The tiebreaker, while confusing and arbitrary, applies to both athletes equally. If the system were slightly different and the next HIGHEST score was dropped, rather than the next lowest, the Chinese girl would be the one left in the silver spot. Unfortunately, Nastia came up with the short end of the stick.
Now, with all that said, I see no reason why the tiebreaker exists in the first place. Why can't there be two gold medals?!?
P.S. Here's hoping Nastia kicks some underage Chinese butt on the balance beam!

I am not complaining about the tie breaker as applied last night. Team USA accepted those rules. That is OUR error!
The problem is the obvious bias by the judges and the cheating by the Chinese who are so bold to put little and very young girls on the world stage to be judged by history who will be cast aside by the Chinese government once they have actually reached 16.

As much as I love Nastia, it is Shawn's turn for some gold.
CyCo, yeah, I'd be happy with that too!
