Hi Elphie! Are you having fun?
Hi Elphie! have a fun trip!
hi!
Yeah, I´m having a great time, although I´m exhausted! There´s lots of gorgeous stuff.
We´re having hours of hotel free time now because apparently whle we were shopping outside, people were planning on obbing us, so we had to come back.
Hi Elphie!
HI!
Hi Elphie!!
Woot! The Broadway Club's first show is going to be Hot Feet! I'm really excited since I love Earth, Wind & Fire!
I saw the marquee for it up yesterday and did a double-take, since it's at the Hilton.

Elphie, how did they know that people were going to rob you?
Mmmm, lasagna.
Ahh, there were Trader Joe's flyers stuffed in the school paper today (they just opened their first Manhattan branch last week, right under one of the NYU dorms on 14th Street), and I'm so hungry after reading all of the yummy specials they have on sale.

I don't know what Trader Joe's is...someone help a sister out?
I love Trader Joe's. It's a grocery store.
They sell a lot of organic stuff, right? I haven't been there in forever.

Upon googling, I've decided I need one of these Trader's Joe's around here.
Or a Whole Foods.
Or a place that isn't Walmart as my grocery store...ick.
Trader Joe's ( http://www.traderjoes.com ) is basically a gourmet grocery store with some really good deals, both on basics and on stuff you wouldn't find at a typical grocery store. Back when I was living at home, most of the food I ate was purchased there - so many yummy pasta dishes and prepared stuff that I could just pop in the microwave.
Random post: Today in my pre-calculus class we learned about "Pascal's Triangle". I'm sitting there the whole time thinking and laughing about the picture from Aida's opening night.
I'm sure there are a few math teachers who become puzzled each year when certain students react in bizarre ways to Pascal's Triangle.
Even more random: The name Pascal is associated with Easter - "From the Late Latin name Paschalis, which meant 'relating to Easter' from Latin Pascha 'Easter', which was in turn from Hebrew pesach 'Passover'. Passover was the ancient Hebrew holiday celebrating the liberation from Egypt. Because it coincided closely with the later Christian holiday of Easter, the same Latin word was used for both. The name Pascal can also function as a surname, as in the case of Blaise Pascal, the French philosopher, mathematician and inventor."
"...many churches have a service late, perhaps midnight, on Holy Saturday, the day before Easter Sunday. This important service is known as the pascal vigil."
Happy holidays...
