Well...he's cute and he's wearing a Yankees hat. How could I not use it?
What was it he said? "Not buff enough for Roger, not nebbishy enough for Mark."? I don't even know what nebbishy means, but it sounds like an apt descriptor of Mark.
FYI (thanks to google): A nebbish is an ineffectual man, someone timid, submissive, weak, helpless or hapless, a nonentity. He’s unlucky, but mainly because he’s a loser right through to the core.

And this thread is becoming too Mano for Adam, if you ask me!

Nebbish: A person regarded as weak-willed or timid...
My sister just called...the tournament she was working in Flordia is over for the day and she's now tanning...and I'm sitting inside on the computer. Something is not right here...

Perfect. It's one of those words that sounds exactly like its meaning.
Sorry! Mano has his own thread... back to Adam.

But they have in common poor typing!
*pokes*

Really Emcee? Maybe it's a musical theater straight guy thing.
Mano's is a different kind of careless, I think, though. Adam's probably like "whatever, I don't need capitals!" Mano looks like he just types fast and forgets to proofread; weird typos and things.
Adam has some of that too, like a random period in the middle of a sentence on his myspace blog.
hee. It's endearing! Mano skipped a word when he messaged me back. And the content was TOTALLY random. It's so fun.

I know I know. I deleted mine to get a new one...only to realize afterwards the computers here at home are inferior to my own and thus, no software to practice my skills of an artist.
It is a proven fact in emails/ims/etc etc that men do not notice, as much as women do, their grammatical, etc errors, and are more likely to not proofread. Little fact o' the day for ya...
Mandi, I love your avatar.
Just for future reference, you don't have to delete your old av, just upload a new one when you decide on it.
it JUST dawned on me to try doing some editing to a picture of Adam and I from Brilliant Mistake. It's cute, but came out too dark. Now it's almost all better!
Mm, Brillilant Mistake. Those were the days...
I would have given a kidney to go to Brillilant Mistakes.
I was trying to go to Brilliant Mistake, but it didn't work out.
Just got back from RENT (traffic was murder).
Words cannot express how incredible it was, but I'll give it a shot anyway! Overall, everyone was fantastic. They were lively, engaged, and really gave a great performance. Matt Caplan was very good, I must say, despite what some have said. Tim Howar didn't "scream" or "growl" at all (except a little in "Goodbye Love," hehe) and I really liked him as Roger. His Roger was really angry, but he made it work. Karmine Alers was in for Antonique Smith, and she was wonderful. My mom loved her voice, and she didn't particularly like the show. She and Tim had great chemistry. Justin Johnston...wow, his legs must've hurt like hell after "Today 4 U." He was amazing! Destan Owens as Collins, I think, took the cake for me. I was bawling during "I'll Cover You (Reprise)" all thanks to him! D'Monroe was great as Benny, too. I liked his voice. I LOVED Kenna Ramsey as Joanne. I don't know who played Maureen because her name and picture weren't in the Playbill for some reason. I'll have to find out, but I really liked her. She was very entertaining in "Over The Moon." The stage door was SWARMED with screaming fangirls (besides my friend and me) so we decided not to stay. Maybe next time.
Phew, okay, I think that covers it all. I'm exhausted, so I'm gonna get something to eat and model the scarf I bought made by one of the costume designers. The money went to charity, so my mom didn't freak when I coughed it up.

I'm glad you enjoyed it guitargeek!! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. Too bad your mom didn't like it. Oh well, at least you did!
I think Ava Gaudet is playing Maureen now.
I have to agree with you on Kenna Ramsey. I LOVE her! She is a great Joanne
Yeah, it was really weird in the Playbill. Her headshot wasn't in with the rest of them, and there was a blank where her name should've been on the cast list. *shrug*

I'm pretty sure Ava is out. I think you saw Caren.
