Ryan,
That's a lovely idea but Greg told me that the cast usually gets together with their families for dinner on Sundays, after the matinee. I honestly can't imagine them NOT doing it after his last show!
I'd suggest checking with him, via emails, to see if that date or another might be better for him.
(lunch before the show?)
Oops Mamie. I meant the Sat matinee cam. We could take him to lunch after the 1pm Sat show. Maybe we can all crowd into his dressing room and wave one last time. It would be fun to try and fit everyone in that closet
I agree with Mamie that it would be wonderful, but it's obviously very important to run every detail by Greg before we even start discussing any plans or details, and also to make sure this is something he would want to do, not something he feels compelled to do.
Also something to think about for others concerned is a lot of us are probably going to want to go to his last show that Sunday, but it may be quite difficult for some to be able to or convince their parents to let them come into the city two days in a row.

girls...and ryan I have a sad announcement to make: my sister and I won't be able to go to NY this year...it's just impossible. We should need more time and money to make it because it's pretty difficult to get the visa. The embassy wants 200 dollars just to give us an appointment then we should give all the papers we have: since when we are working, how much we earn, etc. etc. It's simply impossible now, especially for me...I was just finishing my college education and started working in a company and earn (well, not much). I think that would give my denial: she is young full of dreams and she does not like her job and want a new life in a new world...that's how it works. But next year we could collect more money and I would work more than a year...so...no one is more sad and dissapointed now than we are that we have to prove that we love our country and our parent to leave them...that's insane.
so girls I am awfully sorry that I won't see you this summer, I wanted to talk to you so badly and buy a DRS hat and meet Greg and....ah, many think...but I am still optimistic (well, not now, but tomorrow I will be) so next year we will deffinitely try to make it...I won't let my government controll my life this way.
I will be here for the cam tomorrow but I am off now to watch a funny movie that help me laugh...se ya.
Aww Annie, I'm soo sorry, and of course disappointed I won't get the chance to meet you, but let me know whenever you are coming and I'll figure out some way to get my ass down to the city to meet you
And well...can't help w/ anything else, but if you really want a DRS hat or other memorabilia, you don't have to be here to get it
Annie - that post just breaks my heart. I understand that they're afraid of you emigrating, but it seems like their must be some way around it. Perhaps if you were actually visiting someone in NY? Just a thought.
NEWS FOR GREG FANS - TICKETS FOR HIS FINAL SHOW ARE NOW ON SALE at Telecharge! (I just snapped up 2 in the first row.)
I can't believe they're on sale.. this is really real, isn't it?
I know Kerrie. It hurts to even talk about it. I'm actually hoping to get a chance to go back and see him before then - just once. I'm thinking that seeing him will be pretty much impossible on that last day. (Although he insists otherwise!)
I'm lottoing it on Saturday.. my first free day in a while due to rehearsals.
I will be buying those tickets shortly as well So sad. Mamie, Amanda, I did run the idea by Greg. He seemed to like the idea. We do have 5 months to plan it of course.
That's right. Still 5 months left. That's a good amount of time.
That is if the world doesn't end due to global warming...
ANNIE!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!!
ok, got it out of me. so sad. Not sure if I will be able to make it to Greg;s last performance (I know, it's 5 months away from now, but just warning you and then i will stop talking about it) I might be in Spain, might be in England, might be here. no idea.
Annnniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeee.........We have to get her here! Everyone, pony out up some dollars and get that girl here asap!
Blue, you are so cheerful
I won't be there.
Like I'm ever anywhere...
Hey now I'm just putting things into perspecitve...
I might lottery, TKTS, or tdf if its on, but alas I do not see myself spending 100 bucks on one ticket even for Greg.
"That is if the world doesn't end due to global warming... "
....damn Republicans! Anyway, $100 is chicken feed - yeah, right. I just spent over $200 on him. Of course I bought 2 tickets. (That's why God invented credit cards.)
Mamie! Dont give them ideas. Credit card debt is bad
I already payed for a full price ticket to DRS, a T-shirt, the Cast recording, and a lottery ticket...
hehe it would be funny to add up how much everyone on this thread has spent on DRS...we're nuts...
Anyway, seriously though its 60 degrees Wtf mate! Although, I guess I shouldn't be complaining, but lets face it, Long Island's gonna be the first to go!
good job about not writing anything liz.
Yeah, way to go with that.
*claps*
I know, that last post added a lot to the thread.
Thank you, thank you *bows*
