hey hey all

great cam pics as usual-I missed it because I was having the worlds worst audition (for which I had to get up at 5am which just makes it sooo much worse)

I'm loving that Jonathan seems to be making regular apprerances now!

I saw DRS from front row Mezz andit was wonderful, it really allows one to see the layout of the stage which is quite neat.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

I have learned mostly curses and abreviations from them...lol

I have just realised the writer of the sit-com Bette was Jeffrey Lane...so there is a connection between him and Joanna.

It's Sherie's last day, for a while.. *Tear*.

But when she's back, I will regain my mission to have her give me a shoutout on the cam. It must be done. :)

Looks like I missed a fun day yesterday! The weather was so nice here, I just had to get my butt outside! Although....50 degrees in Albany, NY in February? Is anyone else worried about global warming?

On a somewhat delayed note...

Ryan, why am I the international GFUer?

And about Norbert's sitcom...even if ends up not getting picked up by CBS for a full season, it gives him the chance to get 1) more exposure, and 2) a crapload of $$$. Cheno has talked a lot about how even though her sitcom (coming off of her Tony win) was a flop, she made more money than she did with a successful Broadway show. So even if Norbert's sitcom doesn't pan out, it'll still be a good move.

Hon, BWW is distracting as well as addicting. I need to type up my journal entries, start writing my monologue and my 20-point Algrbra problem. Oh! I also got an e-mail from one of the musical directors I asked to join their pit for their production. Apparently, he e-mailed me about the pit auditions the day of the auditions...3 hours before the auditions started (Trust me, I checked the time stamp).

If I ever end up failing high school, I'd be tempted to sue BWW.

Actually someone I was talking to at the stage door once told me Amanda(as everyone was coming out saying hi Amanda...) you're like the star of the stage door! I like being called a star and having my own fan club The *Official* Greg Jbara Love Thread

Umm...I was definitely going to say something else. Oh yeah, don't fret about missing Sherie, Rachel York is a fantastic performer and I'm so excited to see her in the part!

Sorry Circus, got you confused with Emilia. You are the...um...Non-Original Liz GFUer XD

So today. Kat and I were finally able to see Mr. Pyrce in DRS. I must say I was quite impressed. He plays the role very different from John Lithgow, more deadpan and serious; very much like Micheal Caine. He was not as smooth as John Lithgow's Lawrence but he was extremely effective. His singing was top notch and his acting superb. There were scenes where his character worked better than John's (and scenes were it did not). All in all, he makes an excellent Lawrence.
Rather than just say the usual review (Norbert and Greg were wonderful as usual, Laura was in as Muriel (yay!) and fantatsic, Mylinda Hull played a more valley girlish Jolene but still very effective, and the ensemble as good as ever), I just say the show is quite different now. ALOT of dialogue and scene flow has been changed. It was a bit jarring to see after seeing it the old way so many times. Some of the new bits work, others are okay but suspect in their changes. I will say that the Rupretch scene was so much funnier with Pyrce (Pyrce was really breaking up - the whole humping scene is all new and more hilarious) and his accent and persona as Dr. Emil Schuffhasen was just uncanny. The show is in such good hands but we still missed John. Can't deny that. Pyrce's more strict take however on the role is certainly worth the money.

BTW Mamie, so nice to see you!
