The Raúl E. Esparza "Spread the Love" Thread, Part Four
re: The Raúl E. Esparza 'don't look behind you' thread, part four#350
Posted: 5/4/08 at 8:32pmOh my gosh, the Taboo drawing is so funny. I've always been amused that at the Drama Desk nominees are asked to color.

Awww, what a great birthday present! And that's a nifty collage, too!
Thanks for the sketch! I hadn't seen that one before. It's odd - he doesn't seem to have any hands or feet in his sketch. Hmmm....

Yes, the lack of hands and feet is ... well, a wee bit disturbing. Haha.
I do like the dress, though, Raul has a pretty nifty use of color going on there.

I just snorted a little bit. Not because of the picture itself (although that's quite humorous in and of itself...) but because I can just picture Raúl hard at work getting it just so..
And happy birthday!

Thank you. [=
I love that picture. It's so cute! He really does look like he's contemplating what to draw next.
And it's so nice to open my computer and getting bombarded by Raul. (That sounded a tad dirtier than I had intended it to be...)

I always thought he looked really hot in that picture. I know it's not an imaginative way of putting it, but still true nonetheless.
And I find it funny that he starts with the column... heh

He goes straight to the heart of the matter.

Posted: 5/4/08 at 9:47pmThe Taboo drawing looks like a 13 year old girl drew it. Awesome.

Did we ever see these photos of Sean Connery and Julie Harris visiting THE HOMECOMING?

Um, no? How did we manage to miss that?
Connery looks good for his age, but honestly, he's really looking his age. And Miss Harris is.... I do not like seeing my heroes growing old.
And somewhere during the photo op Raúl changed shirts....

That one looks like a prom picture outtake.
However, vein in hand is still the focus, at least to me.

So uncomfortabe! He looks like he's trying very hard not to throw up. Which he probably did a little later that evening.

Agreed; at least in that one he had a "James Bond" look going for him.
He looks so out of his element in this other one!

Give the guy a break! He did just have to use a pay phone!
Raul: "what does this thing do?"

Hehe.
He looks like he's plotting a prank call.

Jeez, these look like cheesy wedding photos. You know, like when they get a shot of the best man pointing at his watch and the groom looking nervous.
Thank goodness we got one sexy one outta that shoot.
