I think it's funny that Raul wore a grey shirt to ASTEP - could it be his third act shirt from SPEED-THE-PLOW?

Anyone going to Norbert's first performance (including, of course, Emcee and BF), please let us know what it was like. And break a leg, NLB!

I guess you didn’t read the rules then:

Makes you wonder if there are rules about board harassing members across several different threads.

But I guess it's okay since the lurkers totally support you in email.

Actually, there's not. For better or worse.

I saw "Cabaret" on October 25, 2001. Raúl started as the Emcee on October 26, 2001. Missed him by one performance! Ack!

Who did you see instead?

Actually, the rules come up when you download a picture through 'Fan Photos'.

That's where I got that from.

And oh, Spidey, you are too funny!

Yeah, my guess is Vance Avery, too. He was the ongoing understudy and he was AMAZING. *sighs* Good times.

And I second the firecrackers notion. Hot damn.

According to Fangoria on line, 25/8 is no longer the title of the Wes Craven movie Raúl is in. At present there is no title. Also, according to shocktillyoudrop.com, the film is now set for release next fall.

I'm not sure if I'm frustrated or relieved by that....

At least we have a new audio book to look forward to! UNHOLY MISCHIEF is due to be released on December 30.

25/8 was always a stupid title anyway. I just can't picture a sonorous voiceover saying "Twen-ty Five...Eight!" smoothly at all.

Aaaand.....Sirius/XM is NOT broadcasting the Live On Broadway with Raúl! They're repeating the "Annie" one yet again. Well, maybe because it's a holiday weekend? And maybe they'll schedule the one with Raúl NEXT week?

My patience is wearing very thin (I've been snowbound for 9 days. I've already climbed every wall there is and there's nowhere to go when you get to the top except back down! Argh!). Just air the darn show already!! 'K?

What's the big deal? I doubt there's much -- if any -- content we haven't heard before. These things tend to be the same stories over and over again.

I hope they come up with a decent title, because... yeah. While clever(ish), 25/8 didn't work.

No, really Humbug? I've had a browser page open for the last 3 days to the Seth page that says: "INTERVIEWS Friday 7-8, Saturdays 3-4, Sundays Noon-1, Wednesday 5-6" just so I won't forget to listen tomorrow at 1pm Pacific. (I couldn't figure out of that "Friday 7-8 was AM or PM.) Gah!

Yeah. but he sings Soliloquy again.

Yeah, really. And even just 15 minutes Seth signed off from hosting the 5 hour block by saying "in 15 minutes Raúl Esparza on my Live on Broadway show!" So even HE thought they'd be broadcasting it today.

Humbug, I'm so sorry! That really sucks. But what you said REALLY cracked me up! It's a shame us mere mortals can't be like Fred Astaire and tap on the ceiling.

And now I'm headed to youtube. I had no idea that was there!
