I'm a bit confused... Everyone who has been named perfectly shows the major characteristics of being an American.
To be a true, modern American is to be selfish, greedy, vain, and dangerously ambitious.

Somewhere Barbra Streisand's character from The Way We Were is screaming "FASCISTS!"
What exactly is the definition of a bad American? What is the definition of a good American? Some of them were just bad people, but not necessarily bad Americans.
By some of these lists standards, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin and many other of our forefathers would be considered "Bad Americans."

Ok so:

So to get this straight: Tawana's story proved to be quite false, but Al Sharpton continued to take advantage of the situation? I certainly don't support taking advantage of anything, especially race, but that makes him one of the worst?

Al Sharpton is a disgrace. He helped propel the Tawana Brawley lie which labeled a whole town and several people as racist. It was all false and he never apologized. And he was out there calling for the heads of the Duke LaCrosse Team. That also turned out not to be true. He seeks the spotlight every chance he gets. Look at the Imus situation. There is no bigger racist than the "Reverend" Al.

When it comes to judging "bad" and "worst" some people have no taste.
I love that FDR, Carter and Streisand show up on that list... but no Reverend Fred Phelps on any of them.
