Stockard- If you got yourself a long blonde wig you could dress up as Kim from Atlanta housewives that's pretty scary!

I'd have to buy some skanky clothes too.....and have a ciggie dangling from my hand the whole night. That would be pretty funny though. Can you imagine what the neighbors who don't already know me would be thinking? BWAAAHHHAAAAA!!!!!!!

This thread inspired me to have a good long conversation about costumes, and now I know who I'm going as... "Beethoven Decomposing." Put on a Beethoven costume, slap on some scary zombie makeup, carry some sheet music. Haha.

I've two options this year; either my friend (who is tall and has perfect features for Sweeney Todd) and I are going as Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett or my boyfriend and I are going as Leo Bloom and Ulla from The Producers. The latter I'm not sure of because I'll need a corset of some kind to boost up my chest area and I'm going to need a long blond wig, as well as ridiculously high heels (seeing that I'm nowhere near the 6 foot frame that Ulla would be). However, my boyfriend would make a really adorable Bloom so here's hoping we can go with that option.

I can't decide between Juno or qa hippie (Crissy from Hair specifically.) I as Juno last year but was sick and just walked around for a bit with a big ol' Sunny D and a pregnant belly and got a bunch of dirty looks. This year more people would see me! But I still can't choose.

I was going to go as Dolly Parton but I know I will have to work that night and I work in an upscale gallery store where I already get in trouble for my cleavage, so that idea is out! I think I will either go as Jem from Jem and the Hollograms or just an 80's chick....

I need to interject that the whole sluttifying all female costumes is so bloody obnoxious.

FInding my costume last year was such a pain in the ass because all the women's costumes are made into the "sexy version." I teach in an elementary school so I just can't be hooker Dorothy, as much as I would really love to deep down in my heart.

I ended up pulling out the Evil Queen (from Snow White) which I've had in my closet for many years, but I sure would love to do something else this year.

I totally understand what you mean, colleen_lee. I used to want to do things like that, but not anymore. If you can sew or find random stuff from stores, I highly recommend it. I made a really cute Little Red Riding Hood costume last year that way. It was probably better quality than all those sexy outfits too.

Thank you. I've never been into that, and it's even more obnoxious on a college campus. Halloween is supposed to be scary/funny...I have the other 364 days a year to dress slutty.
