DD, when you are here in December, you will be able to talk to the biggest Mac advocate on the East Coast. He has bought broken Macs for 100 bucks and fixed them so that they work like new. He LOVES Macs and he loves talking about them, so he can be your lifeline to a healthy Mac experience.

Yeah... mojitos can be hit or miss. I've had very good ones and very bad ones. It depends on the bartender.

Bring your laptop! I took mine to France with me. I take it whenever I go to NYC. You are most welcome to bring it with you when you visit! That way you can ask the Master of the House all sorts of cool questions.
BTW, DD, should we be trying to find a theatre excursion to go on while you're here?

Well, I'm trying to get tickets to go see Piazza with my sister on the 26th. It's the only day we could possibly go, since I don't get in until late on the 24th.
Ok... I'm a little unused to have my text be so small... yet the icons on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen are SO huge.
I will have my laptop with me, because part of the reason I got it is so I can watch movies on the flight over. NW - the airline I fly - has no amenities for those of us in cattle-class.

Posted: 11/21/06 at 3:24amYep... Columbia Heights. About 3 blocks from the metro station. Not the best part of town. I might be able to have a car, but it all depends on my brother-in-law's mood. Sometimes he's cool and lets me drive his car, and sometimes he's an @ss and won't let me drive it.

I think moonie is picking me up at the metro station. I love metro... I didn't own a car for the first 6 years I lived in DC, and I got around easily.
