"You have proposed, for example, to pay for universal free public college with a tax on Wall Street speculation. Hillary Clinton had previously proposed such a tax, sans the promise that it would cover such a large expense. It's called a Tobin tax. The idea dates back to 1972, and is meant to stabilize markets."
Why hasn't Clinton called for a similar tax on speculation now?
The only argument any of you have for Hillary is that you think she is more electable, not that she is a better person, or cares about the poor. Bernie's selling a pipe dream, Hillary is saying the system is fine as is. I'll be a dreamer.

Those of us who are not suffering from a certain poster's memory issues know PLENTY of "better people" who could never be elected in a post-Citizen's United world (THANKS Republican President Supreme Court appointee!) and prior to that saw several "better people" lose elections, resulting in awful Republican presidents. They were SUCH awful Republican presidents that the only logical endpoint of their terrible legacy is the fruition of Candidate Trump.
I hope you're happy. I hope you're happy now.

That's like one of those "Don't get a Golden Retriever, Whatever You Do!" photo essays, isn't it?
The Bern-outs are spreading this around Facebook this week. Tonight, I told another one of them that Donald Trump is very happy to hear that and her response was "F*CK YOU AND F*CK THAT BITCH SHILLARY"
This is the first I have seen of it. And, yeah, it's melodramatic BS.
If HRC gets the nom, Sanders and Warren will campaign for her, and rally their supporters behind her, just like HRC did for Obama.
I have had to start unfollowing friends on Facebook because their incessant need to post everything political (no matter which candidate they support). It's exhausting. It's disconcerting. I hope the Dems rally around whomever is selected as their candidate. Voting has been down significantly in the primaries for the Democrats in comparison to 2008, whereas the Republicans have seen a surge in voting.

That's a natural progression. It was the same way in 2008 and 2010 for Republicans. And if a Republican is elected, it will be the exact opposite in four years... Nothing new there.

Can someone explain to me why, if the Democratic Party is such an anathema to Barney and his supporters, why is Barney going for the Democratic nomination?
The party is not anathema to Barney supporters, Swillary is, and Jordan's banner dosen't go for most Sanders supporters, only some of them. Seems like you guys are the ones taking the low road of name calling and selective memes.
"...Barney supporters, Swillary is..."

Oh, bitch.

This is very entertaining. The GOP side that is. Happy Clinton and Sanders have kept it civil. Rubio's doing what he has to do, but Trump is such a dominant personality that inspires angry people.
Am I wrong that I'm rooting for Trump now? I'm thinking it's awesome.

Any of them would be better than the socialist or the criminal. Hillary is a disgusting disgrace.

No sociminals! No sociminals! Fasciste! Fasciste!
Chris Christie is endorsing Trump, which makes him an immediate frontrunner for the VP slot. If you're going to run as a bully, might as well have a bully as your VP, no?
