Certain people always sneer about Hillary wanting power. Marco gave up côck (and balls!) for power!

Is CNN trying to influence the democratic nomination? Conveniently, hours before the Super Tuesday events, CNN publishes this news story and a story highlight is that "Clinton tops Trump 52% to 44% among registered voters". Why isn't it a highlight that (as discussed in the same article) Bernie Sanders has the highest favourability ratings of any of the 'top candidates' and beats Hillary for basically all republican pairings?

Oh yes it is a complete and total conspiracy. Press conferences held by Donald Trump are given live microphones by CNN and no editorial commentary for 45-60 minutes specifically to undermine Bernie Sanders.
Why, in Massachusetts, Democratic ballots were red while Republican ballots were blue to deliberately confuse people into voting for Donald or Hillary when they meant to vote for Bernie. Everyone knows the founding fathers assigned red to the Republicans and blue to the Democrats! By the way, Bernie was listed FIRST on the Democratic ballots, I am pretty sure to trick people who wanted to fill in his bubble to accidentally fill in Hillary's because hers was where a voter would automatically expect Bernie's to be. There is literally no end to the chicanery with the single goal of stopping Bernie.
You could actually choose to respond to the issue at hand. Why did CNN favour Hillary's result as a 'highlight' of the story when it was about BOTH of them, and Sanders had an even greater margin? The article is called "Clinton, Sanders BOTH top Trump". Perhaps it's just simply sloppy journalism - any high school journalist would surely recognise that a highlight of the article was that one democratic candidate was practically the most favoured of all candidates across both parties and had the greatest lead with the republicans. Would have been nice for CNN to better inform their readers of this before the voting took place.
While I will happily and proudly support Hillary when she inevitably earns the nomination, when I read that the head of the DNC has chosen to side with Republicans and support legislation that guts the CFPB's regulations on the predatory practices of payday lenders - regulations that the NAACP, Southern Poverty Law Center, National Council of La Raza and the Consumer Federation of America all strongly support - I truly understand the cynicism that many of Bernie's supporters feel about the Democratic establishment.
"We laughed when Reagan announced he was running for president. We were sorry we laughed."
We're you even around in 1980? By your writings I'm guessing not. Anyway, no dumb ass, the Republican establishment was not freaking out that Reagan was their nominee, the didn't have open rebellion in their ranks, and comparing the two just shows how thoroughly out of touch you are, now go back and play in the threads you can contribute in, like every other thread on this board.

Over half of American public school children are living in poverty so I can see why free grad school seems like a fairy tale in this country.
But don't worry Namo. Although the wealthiest country in the history of the world hasn't figured it out here are some other places you could go!
7 countries where Americans can study at universities, in English, for free (or almost free)
It's all over but the shouting.
NY TIMES: Sanders Campaign Will Travel On, but Path to Victory Is All but Blocked
With all the money he has raised, he will almost certainly carry on for awhile. I hope he focuses on message and the GOP rather than on HRC. It's a similar situation to 2008, when HRC carried on well past when Obama had all but secured the nomination. She did nothing to diminish him, when she was ready she exited the race with grace, then she vigorously campaigned for him. I expect Bernie to do the same.

But Sanders is not a Democrat and has no loyalty to the party. Furthermore, he has never campaigned for Democratic candidates nor raised money for the DNC. So why would you expect this time to be any different?

Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton by one vote in Methuen, MA! Or, as SouthFlorida would say it, "A landslide mandate for our team!!!!"
Quol, sorry, I just had a long day of people floating the most insane diabolical conspiracy theories about the horrors that were befalling Bernie that I just couldn't shake it.

Except that Clinton sounds more like Bernie Sanders every day.

Which is a good thing.

Once the nomination is secured, I expect Elizabeth Warren to campaign for HRC and other Dems around the country. If that doesn't convince Bernie's supporters to support Clinton, nothing will. Also, one of the reasons Sanders is continuing is to get a voice at the convention. He will need to support her in order to get that.
That was his role in this primary election: to bring the center to the left. Now he has done that and it is time for him to step aside, graciously and with enthusiasm for the next Democratic president, Hillary Clinton.
And on the other side of the divide, it's time for Marco Rubio to get to steppin'. He's unlikely to come out on top in the FL primary and Cruz is considerably craftier. GOP voters have flat out rejected the establishment candidates.
Word on the street is that the party bosses are trying to coax Carson into stepping aside by offering him Rubio's vacant Senate seat. Carson would be wise to take the offer because it's the best deal he'll get. Christie's lickin' Trump's boots for the AG job vice Lynch.

Where does this come from? I've never made this quote or anything remotely close to it.
Keep writing stuff, it gets dumber and dumber.
As Erik has pointed out many times, every head to head poll Bernie does better than Hillary. Many of you are oblivious to the fact that she is hated by a huge chunk of the electorate. She has my vote in November if she wins, but after reading some of the posters in here who have significant amounts of Bernie friends, I'm not so sure she can beat anyone. Proceed at your own peril.
Congrats PJ, good day for you.
Looking back to 2008, HRC supporters were just as loyal to her at this point in the cycle as Bernie's supporters are to him (right, PJ?). By November, the party came together to defeat McCain. If anything, there is more at stake in this election, so there's no reason to believe they won't come together now.

I appreciate that you don't understand writing South Florida. But when I wrote that we laughed when Reagan was floated as a possible presidential nominee, I was not writing as an establishment Republican. Is this hard for you to believe? I mean, that might be hard for you to understand because understanding does not seem to be your strong suit. I have never, in my life, written from the position of an establishment Republican.
I was writing in the context of people who thought and/or continue to think that Trump is funny and they can't wait for him to bring about the downfall of the Republican party and be trounced in the general. My post was to warn that Reagan seemed like a joke to thinking people at the time.
God, I can NOT believe the amount of time that can be spent trying to explain what is most likely patently obvious to readers with comprehension. You seem to read individual posts completely without the context of ongoing discussion happening around them.
And then you fall back on that straight guy catch phrase "dumb ass." Jesus Christ.
As Erik has pointed out many times, every head to head poll Bernie does better than Hillary.
That's just not true.
