Posted: 1/29/06 at 3:23pmWhat's wrong with a little fiddling? They're just trying to make it right. Other websites shut down while they're fixing things; BWW just keeps going. I'd rather have continual use of the website and little changes going on than 10 hours of downtime followed by a whole new look.

it took me about a month after i joined to even notice the thing up in the corner that said i had a PM waiting for me. i kinda miss the old way. i kinda missed the way the boards were included in that list, as well. now sometimes out of habit, i click on private messages b/c im used to "broadway board" being there.

Holy Feedback! You'll be pleased to here that we're done tweaking at the moment... Got a number of PMs from folks during my last call for site suggestions to keep the PM links in a consistent spot "upstairs" rather than buried on the nav bar (which itself will be changing shortly to accomodate a few new site features. ). It should be nicely fitting on one line now, with the little icon, a number, and the longer message differentiating it when you do actually have a new message...

How funny is it that such a little tweak gets such a reaction from us?
It kind of reminds me of the part of the movie Finding Nemo when Nemo is in the dentist's office in the tank, and the crazy fish is obsessed with the bubbles that come from the treasure chest - "The BUBBLES! Bubbles bubbles bubbles bubbles! Buuuuubbles..." We're much the same - "it's colored!" "now it's back!"
