Come on, Beanie clearly has this booked and then Lea will replace her after a few months.
It won't be Julie as she has something else booked.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Kind of hoping it's an unknown but I doubt that will happen"
Honestly, the fan casting has begun in my opinion. Lea is the dream but I wouldn’t bank on that.
Funny Girl, similiar to Dolly, typically has a name. I suspect we get someone from the Broadway community at least. Is this first news the show is touring?

I laughed at the line in the BWW post: "While no casting has been announced for the tour, the production is using promotional materials featuring Broadway alternate Julie Benko". Well, duh. They aren't going to use Beanie or Lea Michele, because then people would think they are going to see Lea. Also the picture in the BWW artitcle isn't showcasing only Fanny, so its a decent picture to use for now.
When Hello Dolly was annouced for my city, all the pictures they used never featured Dolly. They weren't going to show Bernadette or Bette Midler, and it turns out our stop was after Betty Buckley left, so they wouldn't show her.
"Ok ok ok ok ok ok ok. Have you guys heard about fidget spinners!?" ~Patti LuPone
Definitely depends on if Funny girl goes out on a production contract or not. Could the title alone be enough of a sell to subscribers? They might just plop Ephie Aardema out on tour.

* Week One Season Subscribers will automatically be seated into Disney’s Aladdin.

I guess this means Beetlejuice will be extending for another year on the road. With its surprisingly short engagements in Major markets during the first year of its run, I wonder if it will do longer engagements during year 2.

Excited for Beetlejuice, pissed that they dangled Six in front of us all year only for it to be scheduled for the tail end of the season. Bummed that there's no Company. And I wish they'd go back to the giving subscribers the chance to actually choose their option, instead of this automatic assignment crap that they instituted last year.
It's not the best season but it isn't terrible. I have no interest in MJ but it will do really well.

I know someone who is a subscriber-they told me that is just initially done when they renew but they do have the chance to drop the show, maybe add another, they're not committed to the optional show if they don't want it!

Mgr at Hollywood Pantages said they would announce on February 17th if not sooner. The offer to pay &100 and auto renew expires Feb 8th so timing for 17th seems correct.
I guessing Wicked, which seems to drop in every three years for six weeks over the holidays wiill either be a bonus or part of the season as it’s overdue thanks to Covid.

Mirvish sent an e-mail to subscribers earlier this week that said early-March, but didn't give an exact date. I'm curious to see what this season will look like.
forfivemoreminutes said: "Anyone have any guesses what will be in the next Mirvish season? Hoping for Moulin Rouge! and maybe Six?"
I know Jagged Little Pill is coming here next season, but otherwise it could be interesting because there's quite a few notable tours that will be entering their 2nd year or more of touring that Toronto hasn't gotten.
I remember Mirvish being disappointed he had to cancel the run of Leopoldstadt, so I wonder if he finds a way to bring that.
TUTS (Theatre Under the Stars) will announce March 9th. They've already confirmed 1776 as an add-on (something new for them, as they usually do subscription shows only). The other add-on is UGLY X-MAS SWEATER THE MUSICAL, written by their artistic director Dan Knechtges. Their seasons are usually a mix of locally-produced and tours. Their holiday show will be R&H's CINDERELLA (locally produced) in December 2023, and I'm 99.9% sure their first show is JAGGED LITTLE PILL. Beyond that no idea what they might offer.
Curious to see what we get with BAA. Expecting BEETLEJUICE, MJ, TINA, maybe FUNNY GIRL. We shall see on the 17th of Feb.
