Any word on a Boston announcement? They tend to announce in Feb/March. Hamilton is playing which I imagine is doing well, good time to market your next season.
With the current Dear Evan Hansen tour announcing it will not be continuing next season, it has me wondering what else will be finishing up this year. I think it’s safe to say Mean Girls and Come From Away won’t be returning.
Boston has not gotten Frozen yet, so that feels like a lock. They also haven’t gotten Moulin Rouge, but I suspect they wait one more season for that. A season witb Frozen, pre broadway The Wiz, Company, and Funny Girl I think does enough for the Boston audiences along with Peter Pan and A Girl From The North Country. I think we miss MJ and Moulin Rouge.
A return from Les Mis would be nice too.

Good to know, thank you!
I didn't renew my subscription last season so I hope this year doesn't disappoint. For tours, I could see Company being a possibility.

I had heard Come from Away was switching to non-equity after this current run. Mean Girls, I think, has another year left in it but perhaps that may also switch to non-equity after the current route ends.

I wonder if that Boston suggested lineup would also be Providence's PPAC. Our season launches with Funny Girl, then maybe it's The Wiz, Company, Peter Pan, A Girl From The North Country, MJ and Moulin Rouge which would make 7. We had Frozen a couple years back and Les Mis this past fall. Ooh, although I'd prefer Clue to slot in for anything except Company.

Providence, imo, tends to have better seasons. I suspect you’re mostly right. I think there are some shows that will clearly play the area, so we shall see. It’s an interesting season!

Come From Away is running until the end of 2023. They've been announced for Anchorage's first season in November. Probably going non-equity in 2024.

The show's site only shows dates through May, which is strange to me (there's a run in Boston in August as well, which has been announced for almost a year now). I did see a comment from someone involved with the show (I can't remember who) on social media that mentioned something about the current production ending in May too. Curious what the new tour (if that's what it is) will look like since the first national was pretty much identical to Broadway, minus some of the trees.
The Mean Girls tour is also not showing any dates past 5/7 and I haven't seen it on any new season announcements for 2023-2024.

I hate how late the announcement always is with Broadway Across Canada. I really want to know what’s coming next season to Vancouver . They did announce Hadestown so fingers crossed for some new equity tours as well instead of bringing in shows like Wicked, Les Mis, and Cats for the thousandth time

Did they say when an announcement is expected?
I could easily see Jagged Little Pill being another equity tour that goes across Canada. I don't think Frozen has hit Canada at all yet, so I hope that changes.
Not sure why Come From Away doesn't have dates past May, but here they are:
July 25-30: Cleveland, OH
August 1-5: Hershey, PA
August 8-13: Boston, MA
August 29-Sept. 3: Kansas City, MO
November 29-Dec. 10: Anchorage, AK

All they’ve said is “the spring” so I guess any time between now and June…
The good news is that our current season (subscriber wise so not counting Cats) has 3 out of 4 equity tours this time…

Confirmed in a Telsey casting call that the tour will flip to a non-equity company beginning with the Cleveland stop in July.
Based on who's putting up the show, they should still be using the same set/turntable. Original staging and choreography, too. Looking like most of the stops will be one week engagements.
