The curse of Arthur Laurents continues...will we ever get a winning Rose who was not directed by him or is the role forever haunted?

I’m very happy for Nicole. I think she’s much better than the actual production she’s in but she gives a phenomenal performance 7x a week.

Wasn't she out of the matinee today?

Such a brilliant performance in the musical of the year. She is thrilling, captivating, and gripping. Nicole you are A Force and so loved!

No, there's video of the curtain call since it was Thaxton's last performance. She was there, crying with flowers (and covered in blood) as Tom Francis gave a goodbye speech.

Maybe Happy Ending wins Best Musical.

I can’t argue with any of these winners tonight. It would have been crazy for Audra to win and I’m so glad Nicole has. And Darren.
Now we just need MHE to win Best Musical

At least her dress matched her favorite hat.

Helen J. Shen running and screaming into someone's arms (couldn't quite tell who it was) was probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen!

I’m neutral on Nicole‘s win, just honestly a bit surprised that she would still win after aligning herself with beliefs that are the antithesis of so many in the theater community.

Cynthia was a perfect host. Loved her.

Not really

Nicole survives accusations of MAGA, Audra in Gypsy, the Patti drama. It’s an unambiguous message that Nicole won and gave one of the greatest performances of all time.
