Guess she changed her mind.

Considering she is *THE* reason to see the show, I’m happy.

How limited is limited? F*CK this is going to be a busy fall for me.
I had a feeling if she did, it would be for a limited run. She has an ABC miniseries coming up, not sure when it's filming, and I'm sure she had other irons in the fire that have been on hold for a year now.
It would look bad for the show assuming she wins the Tony and didn't return.
I’m glad that she had some time to truly heal her body and not have to hobble and piece her way through her original contract with vipers making commentary all along the way. This is good news. I hope to see her.

For her original run, what weekly shows was she normally out? I am hoping to go in October and wanted to buy tickets for a weekend show.

Sources say she recently wrapped filming said ABC miniseries. The length of her limited engagement has yet to be disclosed, but I would assume she stays on board until January.

When did she ever say she wasn’t rejoining the show?

Her replacement in London is astonishing. Others can play this role. She isn’t “THE reason” to see it.

She will be if she wins the Tony.
Heck, even if she doesn't win the Tony, they will milk her nomination for everything it's worth. She has leverage.

I don't remember her every saying she was not returning. She had to have months left on her contract.

I saw her standby and her and both were fantastic. The show isnt very good, but both performances were worth seeing for sure.

I think the comments about questioning her return stem from tweets she made back in May 2021.
"I believe the Broadway industry can and must do more for all. This community has been SCREAMING for answers to so many questions. How are we moving forward? What anti racism work is being done? What new policies are being implemented to keep people safe? We aren’t going back..."

She added on to the tweet with:
"And yes, I will not be signing anyone’s contract until this industry is ready to move forward. Start communicating with this community. I believe WE can do this together. NOW is the time."

She then followed up on these tweets a few weeks later, by writing to an account that I believe questioned her role with Tina (The original tweet / account has since been deleted) by writing "Hi, I did not say I’m stepping down. I said communication needs to happen pertaining to the anti- racism work being done and new policies being implemented, before I sign any Broadway contract."

Would've been helpful if they published the start/end date for her engagement. As it is, we have to guess what days she'll take off as she did before. I believe she only did 6 shows/week. When questioned, the theater rep said, "she shares the role; it's not an understudy."
I remember just before the shut down, she wasn't performing on a Sunday mat, but it was not ankle related.
It's always nice when they show an actor's schedule online (Laura Benanti in My Fair Lady) but they did not seem to do that for Adrienne. Someone mentioned she didn't perform on Saturday nights but I find that hard to believe. It may change week to week which would be frustrating for people wanting to catch her.

I think they communicated something to her bank account, is what has changed."
Given that she said she won't sign a contract until the usual unspecified "changes" are made, and since no such "changes" have been made (unless they've been made in secret, in which case, huh?), i think this is a pretty safe assumption.
