I did not care for her at ALL. the Next to Normal performance was dull and dragged on forever, and I thought she was very disappointing after all the hype I had heard. As for her speech, I think my girlfriend put it best, Agonizing.

Why is her behavior so surprising. Most actors talk like that. It is in their DNA. Most actors are manic geniuses who are like overexcited little kids...
