The hottest boyz in town
The new Altar Boyz site is AWESOME! For some reason though, every time I try to check it through AOL, I keep getting the old page with the link to telecharge. Very, very frustrating. Hope no one else is having this problem!

Praise Jesus this site is a stitch! If the show is half as funny as the Blog it will be great..
I must admit that I had been thinking that a musical about a Boy-band sounded pretty played out, but this site gives me hope. There are obvioulsy some pretty talented folks involved! I'll be saying a rosary for you boys (well not you Abraham, but I'm sure you udnerstand....)!!

Kevin Del Aguila, a dear friend of mine, wrote the book for the show and is helping the "boys" with the "their" blogz.
He is a huge talent and I can't wait to see the show in it's new home.

Yes, something is odd about that website.
If I go to www.altarboyz.com using Internet Explorer, then it works. If I use some other browser, I get the old site.
They better check it out.

i just looked at it with netscape and the images arent aligning correctly but the correct page is loading. you might just have the old site in your cache/cookies. if you clear them, and you still have the problem.... then maybe theyre doing a page refresh from the old site but i dont think that they are.

it's working now
odd
they were doing some kind of re-direction thing or something because when I typed in www.altarboyz.com, I was getting www.altarboyz.com/modules/news or something like that
I wanna see Altar Boyz so badly!
yeah, it's working now for me too. The blogs are hysterical -- can't wait till they put sound clips up there!
Looks like they're very serious about this show. Really clever stuff. And yes, AOL does "suck".
i cant wait to see it im so excited.......how do you guys think it will turn out?
I sincerely believe Altar Boyz will take the city by storm once it starts performances on the 15th. If the buzz around this show has been able to spread so widely after less than 800 people saw it at the NYMT Festival, I can't even imagine what will happen when it starts a regular schedule Off-Broadway. Big things, I'm telling you. Big things.
Is there anywhere to listen to the samples of the songs?
I think there are some samples from previous incarnations of the show on Cheyenne Jackson's site: cheyennejackson.com.
I personally can't wait to see it. I wasn't able to get tickets during the NYMF run, and now I've found out from work that I'll be head ushering this show for at least the 1st 2 weeks of performances. So when you do go see it, be sure to say hello to the guy outside the theatre who directs you to an aisle. I'm really quite a bit nicer in person. But then, aren't we all?
Speaking of the job, I worked at the 2nd preview of MUSICAL OF MUSICALS tonight and was reminded how much I love this show. I know it's gotten a divided response from those who saw it at York, but I think it's an entertaining, well-performed series of parody, and the audience tonight generally seemed to agree. It's the same cast of 4 and has changed only a little from the original staging. I can't put a finger on what has been cut, but the production has been streamlined very well and was noticeably in better form than on the night I 1st saw it. I'd definitely put it on my "Shows To See" list, a list that is painfully small right now. Hell, I've been to LA CAGE 5 times now.

The sight is awesome. The blogs are hysterical. I can't wait to see this show now. #:-{> hehe... I have to agree w/ GirlfriendFromCanada. The emoticons of Jesus are very funny. This is definitely a great way to promote this show.
