Did it let you pick a non-AMEX payment method? There is no code required for a lot of the seats, but they still require you to check out with an AMEX card either way."
No was at that part when I stopped. I’m sure you’re right, just thought it was weird that some seats were locked and some weren’t.
Are Wednesday and Saturday the only days they’re doing both on the same day?

I had signed up for an Amex card and it finally arrived this weekend, so I snagged my ticket tonight - March 17th, both parts in one day. Really looking forward to this.
Lee Pace will be playing Joe Pitt on Broadway! He was excellent in THE NORMAL HEART...this seems like a great fit.

I am so stoked by that casting. Cannot wait until I see this in March.
I admit I'm still bummed Tovey isn't coming over. I found his performance to be a revelation.
I was not particularly impressed with Tovey and I cannot wait to see what Pace does with this role.

I love Lee Pace. Fantastic news
Lee Pace is an incredible piece of casting. His performance in Normal Heart was really moving and I’m sure he’ll find a lot of depth in Joe that I thought was evident in Marianne Elliott’s direction but not necessarily in Russell Tovey’s portrayal.
I think Lee Pace is almost too attractive for the role, but he'll be great.
Prior calls him the Marlborough Man. Lee Pace does indeed look like the Marlborough Man.
God, I want a cigarette.
I didn't think Joe could be too attractive. He is always played by an attractive person. I think Lee Pace will be wonderful. I wish I could be in NYC to see this. I loved the NT broadcast.

I think some seats were held for people with better Amex cards.
Yes, a substantial portion of the center orchestra, around row P or so, was held for certain AmEx holders. Frankly, I don't think those seats are good enough to merit being held.

How are Row N, 108-109?
I could've opted for closer to the stage for an extra $100, but I figured this will be a big spectacle and I'll want a better big picture view.

What do you think the chances are that the play will run longer than the "18 weeks"? And if you think it will extend, what are the chances Andrew Garfield, Nathan Lane, and others extend with it? Friend thinks she can see it this summer. I am doubtful.

Couldn't agree more. Russell Tovey has done very well out of his 2 expressions but I think he was overstretched and overshadowed by the play and the rest of the cast here. Rocky has done Broadway a great service.
Also go and marvel at Denise Gough in People, Places and Things while you can to prepare for Angels. She is that rare acting powerhouse that comes along once a generation. If you're lucky..

Hi! Posted in the presale thread but realized this might be a more appropriate place. Does anyone know when then Neil Simon box office will start selling tickets for this?

Someone more experienced might be able to give a better estimate, but the box office doesn't open until the new production has "moved" in, Cats is still there till end of year. So maybe 1 or 2 months before previews?

Thank you ElphabaGoodman and mpkie. I had read an article that made it sound like it was maybe being sold there. I don't want to wait until then so I'll gladly (ish) pay the Ticketmaster fees to secure the seats now.
Thanks again!
Does anyone know if all the black painted on the ceilings and walls for "Cats" is fake, or is it actually on the originals, and they will have to a renovation of sorts?
