My mind is blanking on seating in the Neil Simon. I'm looking at Orchestra Row U or Mezz Row L. Which seat would be best? Thank you!
I think Beth Malone may be joining the cast! She posted on her Facebook page last night that she landed a new job in New York and she dropped a hint. She said “the great work begins” and then fell in the snow and began making a snow angel. How exciting!
^She also posted an Instagram with two references to angels in the caption!

Who would she be? Isn't the entire London cast transferring sans Tovey? I hope she's not replacing Denise Gough...

This may be crazy, but I heard rumblings People, Places, and Things was going to transfer to Broadway. I assumed next season due to Angels, but perhaps they're striking quickly and Gough chose it over playing Harper.
Malone is great and all, but far too old to be playing Harper. She's more appropriate for the Angel.
if I had to guess, she'd be the Angel/Harper cover?
I doubt she would be cast as a cover. If PP&T is indeed transferring, Denise Gough is surely transferring with it. But Beth is definitely more suited for the Angel, although hard to picture in the context of this production (Amanda Lawrence was so odd and specific and wonderful). Regardless, there’ll be a full press release and cast announcement in the next few weeks and we won’t know until then.
Work is work. But I can't imagine PP&T is transferring. Where would it even go? Unless they're trying to get into the Court.

To be fair, the rumblings I heard were not from a good source so it might have just been my friend speculating.
I agree, she's more suited for the Angel.
Pretty sure Beth is playing the Angel track. I have to say the English actress that played the Angel and the actress that played the mother and also Tovey, over in London had extremely imperfect American accents. It may work over in London, but the accents really have to be perfect over here. That may have something to do with the replacing of some of the cast members.
I don't think she reads that old to play Harper, especially opposite Lee Pace, and think she can do the part justice. But Denise Gough was so stunning in the role that I'm hoping Malone plays the Angel (if she's indeed in the play).
Aside from Lane, Garfield, and Gough, I really don't think it was necessary to transfer over the London cast. Particularly when there are numerous actors in New York who would kill in it.

I agree 100%. We have some fantastic actors who would do Louis and Hannah Pitt's characters much more justice.

I saw the show twice in London and that was my first thought when I read the transfer news.
The selling of pairs of tickets is irritating. I will only be in town for one part and they wont sell me a ticket.

I know, BettyBoy! It’s so annoying. I have the exact same issue. I am in town for the first preview of MILLENNIUM APPROACHES and will not be in town for PERESTROIKA. Are they really not going to sell tickets to single evenings?
Malone is in!

"For select performances"?
Must be part of the Equity compromise or something.
Just the Angel role, or the whole character track?
I’m confused by the large amount of people announced for the cast. Are they rotating roles? But the stars aren’t? Odd.
Malone is a great choice for the Angel, but this seems weird. Must be an Equity thing.

Uhm maybe they are the "stage hands" (hard to describe if one hasn't seen this production yet) and the puppeteers?
Mildred, there's an ensemble that essentially manipulates the Angel, etc. So that's why the cast is larger than usual.
