There will always be a split between audiences who want to see "the actor" and those who want to see "the movie star." If you like Chris Evans or Armie Hammer in their recent films you won't necessarily like them in stage roles that use little of their sex appeal or charm.

Yeah, I jumped on tickets for that day as soon as I read that. This is a pretty great cast.

It looks like those $22 mezzanine seats are all sold out at this point. All that's that's left in the mezzanine at that performance is $260 with fees.

Yeah, this show is pretty much all sold out. I looked at literally every date, and the only open seats are the $260 ones. For a 90 minute play? Nope.

Wow, they have really saved a lot of seats for the 30 under 30. That's a good thing but those of us over 30, there are little to no seats left. I wonder if they will release more seats close to a performance if they aren't selling out.

Previews start on Friday, but it's still close.
That said, Ardnt is a much more interesting choice for the role in my book. I wish him well.

I hope the "personal reasons" Tom is leaving aren't too bad. That said, I missed Heisenberg so I'm excited I'll be seeing Arndt next week.

I honestly hope they don't end up canceling the first few previews to give Arndt more time. I got those awesome $22 seats for the second preview.

I have to say that having seen a couple of interviews with Mr. Skerritt about this project, he didn't look well. Hope he's alright.

Maybe this decision was made earlier and they’re just announcing now?
Dennis Arndt was great in Heisenberg, and he has spent his whole career doing regional theatre rep. Only going by his bio, he seems like a total pro and the type who could jump into a role successfully at the last moment (like Christopher Sieber replacing Jeffrey Tambor in La Cage, or LaTonya Jackson replacing Diahann Carroll in Raisin in the Sun). I would be surprised if they delay the 1st preview.
