My Audience Rewards seats for Dead Outlaw this week were L2 and L4. Great view!

I cannot get over the latest increase in price. Death Becomes Her, Buena Vista, Dorian Gray, and Maybe Happy Ending are all now up to $114 a ticket + 250 Points. I guess the days of cheap tickets from AR are long gone…

I can't get over the prices and point value either! I am still waiting for them to finish updating the website. I emailed asking if they were going to offer the feature of choosing the amount of points we can use on a ticket purchase and the response was they are still working on the website. I can't even add my missing purchases!
Sorry for the ramble! Has anyone purchased Oh Mary tickets? I am debating doing the $72 and 9,500 points but don't know if it's worth it. Plus I would need to call them.

Quoting myself here… I ended up getting Dorian Gray for $114 a ticket + 250 points. Hated myself a bit for caving but figured it was time I buy since I have not won the lotto and they’re closing at the end of the month. AR just sent my seat assignment - Orch H5 and H7. Those are definitely the best seats I’ve been given so I wondered if the increase in price now comes with better seats? Anyone have any insight?

Not sure if higher prices mean better seats, I've user AR for many years and was always given seats in mid orchestra on the aisle. Closest row was H, furthest was M in Imperial theater. I think they just charge more for popular well sold shows

I called them for OM three times, they always didnt have any ticket inventory when I called. Paid way to much to go and found it the most overrated play in a long time.

Do they tell you where your seat location will be when you call them to reserve? I have almost 100,000 points but have never redeemed.

Is Audience Rewards ever going to get their sh*t together again? Their new website continues to be practically nonfunctioning, and the "rewards" are virtually nonexistent. As an example, HELLS KITCHEN used to be 250 points + $48 for good orchestra seats. NOW it's listed as 4500 points plus $48 for balcony seats (which you can already buy from the box office for $48 and no points). It looks like they had a new president come on board last week, Katie Dalton -- so hopefully Ms. Dalton will help get them back on track.

I also hate that they got rid of the trivia page (and, even though it was a while ago, the theater “check in” feature).

I'm hoping to grab a couple of Audience Rewards tix for Buena Vista the first Wednesday of November. Currently they're offering tix July 23 through August 23, and so far they're not exactly flying out the door. (Six shows sold out from 20 available.) Anyone with AR redemption experience have an educated guess on when I might possibly see November tickets released? Are they likely to do it in one-month increments?

I got a ticket for July 2 that was released on the site on June 5. (I was checking daily.) Seat was Orchestra Left N1.

Thank you, that's very helpful. I expect I will be checking daily as well pretty soon!
BTW, your Orch left N1 ticket is in line with others on this board who have posted that N1, 3, 5, 7 seem to be the standard AR ticket locations. Good on you for getting an aisle seat!
Can you earn audience rewards points if you purchase tickets at the box office?

Usually - I provide the Audience Rewards number to the box office staff when I purchase. Recent shows where I have done this and the AR points posted successfully are Operation Mincemeat, Dead Outlaw, Old Friends, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Buena Vista Social Club.
It seems a lot more reliable than it had been in the past.

Thank you. I did not know I could give my number to the box office. So I missed out on points to JUST IN TIME, MAYBE HAPPY ENDING, and OLD FRIENDS as I failed to provide my number.

There is a list of theaters on their website, under Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page, where you can find out which theaters will add your AR number to the purchase order right at the box office. Here you go:
Earning ShowPoints for Box Office Purchases. Select box office locations allow members to earn points for purchases made at the box office. See below for a list of participating box offices. In order to receive points at participating box offices, please be sure to bring your Audience Rewards number to the box office and provide to box office staff when making your purchase.
You can also call them (866) 313-9635 weekdays between 10a-5p for more information, or to make sure that the theater(s) in which you're interested are still participating. Given that some of the stuff on their site (i.e. the defunct Trivia questions) is out of date, you might want to double-check.

I don't think Circle in the Square participates for some reason.

Just in Time doesn’t currently participate
in my experience, the Shubert houses let you give them your Audience Rewards number when you buy tickets do James used to but I’m not sure with the merger from ATG and I know Nederlander you can only get points online at times. I’ve paid the service fee in order to get points hope that helps

I wasn't able to get AR points when I purchased my tickets for Just in Time, but that might have been a production decision and not the theater's. I seem to recall getting AR points for shows at Circle in the Square in the past, but no longer having access to past AR activity on the AR website doesn't help me to try to remember.
