Hey guys... I have a question. I was looking at the cast breakdown in the recent Backstage and I noticed that all of the teenage roles (except for a few... tanya, Kyra, and Alan ) and the priest said "cast" after them which means that they are already cast. It didn't say "cast" next to Sister Chantalle, which I expected since the rumor was that she wasn't coming back. I was surprised that it didn't say "cast" next to Claire (Peter's mom). Does this mean that Kaitlin Hopkins isn't coming back????? Does anybody know????? Thanx
Here's another question - To what is the music in this show comparable? (Yes, I'm looking for yet another audition song, and I'm not familiar with the show very much)
Feel free to direct me to another thread if covered already...

Maybe the $70 is to make up for the steal-of-a-deal $40 they were charging when the show was at the ATA. (I still don't know how the show made any money, considering the price and the size of the theatre.) In any case, it's worth it for $70! Especially if you get really close seats; the show plays exceptionally well when you get an intimate view.
(As a sidenote, I just got back from the Madonna concert. My goodness, she is a goddess. PHENOMENAL show, one of the most enjoyable nights I've ever had. I had to share! Wow!)

*sigh* i go away for a few days and miss all the 'bare' action!
and $70 is definitely not a lot for a show, if you ask me, especially after having seen the show FIVE times for only $100 total during the ATA run. i actually felt BAD about doing the student rush sometimes...
and yay for bwayguy and his adamness!

70 is very reasonable. Last I heard, Kaitlin plans to return. There was also no breakdown for the priest, but I hear Jim is returning.. so... **shrugs*

It's like Rent because of its surging rock/pop score, but with more moving melodies (think Hedwig). It also has more ballads than Rent. You can hear and download the entire CD sampler on the official website.

Even though $70 is a leap from the old price, Bare is so worth it. Plus, like Starlyricist (hey babe) said, I almost felt guilty paying so little ($40) for seats at the ATA!

Front row seats, no less. A bargain for an up-close view of John Hill in 2xists!
They're going to have to change the staging a lot for this new venue; it has 5 times the capacity.

The cost of subway fare: $2 The cost of a Bare ticket: $70 The cost of seeing John Hill in his 2xists from the first row: Priceless

Oooo. I'm gettin' all worked up...I saw the show front row every single time. Those 2(x)ists were almost too much, MadeofGold (hey back babe!). I had my inhaler in one hand and my...well nevermind what was in my other hand. Can't wait to see it from 2nd row opening night. Hopefully it'll be just as good that close at Dodger Stages.

Not to mention Michael Arden's cherub smile! You gotta be close to see that! I love how his eyes twinkle when he grins. My god, the boy has the brightest smile ever!

Mikey was always RIGHT there...I just wanted to hug him sometimes...especially after "See Me"...so sad. But I refrained. I have SOME self-control. Some.

Hee. Yes, of course beautiful Michael was always there. Sometimes it's hard for me to see through the John Hill haze to remember that but believe me, I do!
And of course we can't forget the Adamness(tm broadwayguy2)

How COULD we forget the Adamness? There's a certain bwayguy on here that could never let us!

And it'll be a Bare concert reunion at the next Bare concert! Do you think it'll be the same exact songs as the last gig?

Idk! But I don't have tickets to the next one!!!! I need to find one! I'm not trying to find three this time (I'm pretty sure the friends are busy that night), so hopefully I can find one!

Ack. I thought you had a ticket. I'm sure one will pop up sooner or later just like last time. Maybe Telecharge will open up some more spaces last minute again.

Hmmmm, looks like some of our posts have been deleted.
Anyway, I'm really upset I can't go to the concert, especially because it's the day before my birthday. Would have made an awesome birthday treat, but what the hey.

Anyhoo, sorry you can't be here for the concert BlueWizard and happy early birthday (in case I forget)!
