The best Paltrow has been in years was on Glee. You could just see how much fun she was having. Even with just her and Platt it sounds great, but add Babs and it could be incredible.

Not necessarily.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Platt haters, please check one: 1/ His father got him the job 2/ He’ll just play a variation of Evan 3/ It will fail. He’s just a one hit wonder. 4/ His voice will ruin any song 5/ He’s ugly.
Also, Barbra will only sign on if she’s playing Ben’s sassy younger sister.

Just one? Impossible to choose!
Streisand will be directing some episodes? So we can expect to see the series in 10 years?
Streisand has been a 'definite' for many projects - most notably GYPSY and even DROWSY CHAPERONE movie - none of which ever became a reality. I hope this happens....
I just looked it up on IMDb and it says for Barbra Streisand and Gwyneth Paltrow (rumored). Not sure if that's an update or it was always like that. I would imagine that to get a two-season guarantee there must be some likelihood that it will happen.

This does comically capture most of the criticism here directed towards Ben, haha.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

SH*Tty cynicism surrounding a project that we know very little about is what keeps me coming back to BWW day after day. Thanks for your insight!
Barbra Streisand's husband, actor James Brolin, is in the ensemble of the CBS series LIFE IN PIECES, now in its 3rd season. He plays the patriarch of the Short family alongside 2-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest as the matriarch. Streisand is a regular visitor to the set so I'm sure watching the process plus all the positive accolades actors have regarding working for and with Ryan Murphy has made her agree to working in this series as an actress. Streisand likes to direct her personal projects. She loves being directed on other's projects so this assumption that she needs full control of everything she is involved with is idiotic.

That's what I was wondering as well, but I'm still willing to give it a shot.

With all the unnecessary, vitriolic Ben hater's abounding, how did you people ever neglect to mention his chronic farting problem?
There are some Tweets out there from a few P.A.'s at The Grammy's that this was an issue many were talking about during dress rehearsals and the actual broadcast night. Ben Platt knows how to make a rumbling wherever he goes. I also heard this was brought up during the taping of his WILL & GRACE appearance and Megan Mullally did a hilarious Instagram Story about it during their rehearsals.
