If it's the show I'm thinking/have heard, it's chances of getting a best musical are similar to Miami's chances of a white Christmas.
If anyone feels like PMing me the show that everyone is talking about, I wouldn't object.

Shuffle Along and Waitress look like the most successful options to me. I also think School of Rock will get in there. The last spot (if there's 5 nominees, which I think there will be in such a packed year) will either to American Psycho, Tuck Everlasting, or On Your Feet (if it's still running).

There's really no way of telling based on the number of eligible show. It just depends on the gap between the number of votes that the 4th place contender gets and the 5th place contender gets (or something along those lines).
Hey WiCkEDrOcKS - if your current avatar is Stephen Boyer, I have to go back and see that show again!
I have no idea how or why that happened!! So bizarre.
Way too early, but I would say Shuffle Along, Waitress, Hamilton, and School of Rock
Even though I personally like to wait, at this point, I'll say:
Hamilton
On Your Feet!
School of Rock (if a fifth slot happens)
Tuck Everlasting
Waitress
After just coming across this thread now, you should all take a look at the predictions we've made.
This past year was the first time we've seen 5 nominees for Best Musical since 1960, Waitress apparently didn't end up being as strong of a contender as you all thought it would, Bright Star was a surprise nominee (I wouldn't be surprised if the two shows that received three votes or less in the nominating process were that and Waitress), and American Psycho was clearly no contender at all.
Okay? What is the purpose of that?
I agree with Jeffrey! It's kinda fun to look back at the early predictions.
Isn't this the equivalent of beating a really dead horse?

Aww, where's that fun loving spirit that y'all usually have?
Thanks Jeffrey.
