I was looking through some CD's of mine and it struck me how stunning the art work for "Follies" is. Also "Pacific Overtures"
On the flip side, I dislike "Taboo" and the new "Gypsy" art work.
Any other favs?

I like the cover of the OBC of A Little Night Music.
But the cover of The Boy From Oz OBC isn't very good. How they could screw up with Hugh Jackman on the cover I don't understand...
The LP of On the Twentieth Century, with its metallic silver cover, always stood out to me. As a kid, I loved the Hilary Knight art deco cover for No No Nanette and then the riot of color when you opened up the jacket and saw all of the production photos and Raoul Pene du Bois designs. Yes, I never stood a chance at heterosexuality.

the poster for assasins is terrible! I hope thats not the cd cover!
Plum I kind of like the cover of BFO's cd, however, I wish they would have shown Hugh from the back, shaking his booty.
I don't like the new Assassins poster at all, and i don't really know why. I really like the Album cover for the recent Man of La Mancha revival and Beauty and the Beast and Little Shop. I guess my least favorite is not an album cover but all those posters around the city with Scary Spice as Mimi. Can't they just keep the original poster! Geez....
I love the artwork on RENT- the whole collage thing- it's very cool.
I like the Children of Eden one as well- simple but nice.
The Taboo and Godspell ones are kind of scary.

I always liked the
LEADER OF THE PACK record album cover.....
Some of thge best ones were on records...
But I bet the cover of Footlosse was the worst!!!!!!!
I like the cover for Zanna...Jai is just so adorable on it!
I never liked the cover for The Life, Dreamgirls, or Lucky Stiff but I really hate the cover for The Human Comedy. Every time I see it, it makes me cringe. I prefer the old Assassins logo to the new one. The new one looks more like a Tarantino film poster, which I'm so thankful it is not. I also prefer the stunning London cover of A Little Night Music to the Broadway one. I also don't like the use of photographs for covers like the original London recording of She Loves Me or the Broadway recording of Two By Two.
I don't love the new Assassins poster, but I think they could have worked a little harder on the original cover (It was clever, but it probably took two seconds to design), and I also LOVE the Rent cover. The Last 5 Years cover is great, as is the Bat Boy cover.
I love Rent and Hairspray, and I like the new Millie betetr than the movie cover

I agree with those that said they liked A Little Night Music. Sweeney Todd, Company, A Chorus Line, original Chicago and Evita are great. I'm not fond of Wicked, Taboo, any of the Godspells, the new Starlight Express, Zanna Don't (but I never liked that musical anyway), and the worst of them all, imho, FOLLIES.
I love the TABOO and Wicked cd covers..hey why is the TABOO cd cover scary 4?

I don't hate the covers, I just don't think they are very creative. Maybe I expected something more gothic looking from Wicked, and the Taboo cover is just kinda boring.

I don't think the original Follies cover was that bad. I love the picture itself, since the show is supposed to be about "rubble in the daylight," but the coloring...well...meh. (I'm going by what I see on Amazon here.)
The album itself lost some of its luster for me once I got the concert version, but that's OT.

I agree that "Footloose " is dumb. Also, not a fan of "Secret Garden", "Cats" or "Hello,Dolly".
Like: "Big River" (original), "Assassins" (original..what the heck is the new one about?), "Dreamgirls", and "Rent".
I like the simplicity of Barnum
Prodigal, Pippin and the NBCR of She Loves Me
I like Beauty and The Beast as well. Thoroughly Modern Millie is also great. I also like the covers for the new Into The Woods, Wonderful Town, and the new Fiddler.
The worst, most recent poster, though, is most definitely Never Gonna Dance, with the two leads on top of the Empire State Building.
Am I the only one who loves the new Assassins logo?
I also love Beauty and the Beast and RENT's cd covers.
I really like the covers for Lippa's The Wild Paty and A Little Night Music.
i've seen past ideas for the wicked posters, and i think the one they decided on is perfect, the past ones focused on elphaba and fiyero, not the glinda elphaba idea
the assassins poster seems sorta...ineffective towards the show, the original is even more out there
Forgot to add, in the like column:
Company
Big River
original Little Shop
