It would be absolute madness to change the lyrics of the OCR, the majority of people who will buy it anyway will have been to see the show.

If they want to make sure nobody below certain age to buy the CD, they can put "innapropriate language" label, so the seller will know that they have to ask for ID card when somebody under-age try to buy it. When I bought Billy Elliot DVD, I was only 14 years old. They asked my ID card (but because i was near to 15, they allow me to buy it). That is a lot better than changing the lyrics. The most important is "don't change any lyrics"

Posted: 11/25/05 at 11:50amOther musicals such as Les Miserables, or Blood Brothers, which both contain explicit language never had their lyrics changed, and there are loads of CDs of each of those musicals, so for the Billy CDs it is doubtful they would change the lyrics, as they have no need. They are under no leagal obligation to change them, and so it is pointless even having this conversation!!!

Not this weekend but i'm going this thursday; can't wait, i'm so excited. i wonder who i'll get. every time i've been i've had the full cast so it'd be interesting to see the main roles played by the understudies.

Posted: 11/26/05 at 1:56pmJust found out that the reason liam isnt leaving on the third is because his replacement that was in the academy was dropped by the producers at the last minute due to the fear of his voice breaking, and so they have had to find and train a new billy, which all takes time. I know this because the Billy that was meant to come in liams place is the cousin of my bro's friend.

This is the first I have heard of Liam potentially leaving so soon. Authenticity? Can anyone else closer than me to the action comment.I suspect that we are not talking of Travis as he is only 11 and I doubt that his voice is nearing breaking point and this is the first I have heard of Billy Matthew not coming on stream.

I saw Liam this afternoon! I went delivberately with the goal of seeing him, so I was so pleased that he performed! He was absolutely fantastic, as were Michael and Debbie.
I'm not sure who the Michael was, but him and Liam was fantastic together in "Express Yourself"!

Oh, by the way! I am new to the boared! :) . I live in Canada, and I have only seen the show once, about threee weeks ago! and I LOVED it soooo much! luckly I also got to see George as Billy!!! but I never got to meet him and I was very upset!

I heard in Whatsonstage.com, they deleted the thread of James Lomas because of revealing his personal details, or somebody claiming to be his girlfriend (not sure if it's true).

Off to Cuba in the morning.
I have to say that I've truly come to depend on this board in the last month or so. It feeds my addiction to BETM, and holds me over until I can get back to London in the Spring. I fully expect at least a hundred posts that I will have to read just to keep up.
