3rd of december is the last day for liam and george, that is why everyone is making such a big fuss over it, and that why tickets are going fast. I saw leon a couple of weeks back, and he was amazing, his dances are not as technical as James was, but he is dead on with the humour, and he is a fantastic actor. He is my fav billy anyway. Are you gouing on the 5th december to see it then? thats a monday night right? mondays are leons night so provided he is well, he is who you will see. If anyone believes me to be wrong, please write in and correct me, but im pretty sure what i have told you is correct.
Also i am all in favour of the 3 recordings. Put my name down for the petition!

WOW This thread is HUGE. Just wanted to add that "Billy Elliot" was one of the most moving pieces of theater I have ever seen. I loved every second if it!!
I can't wait till it comes to broadway!! It will own the season!
Londonboy - Thanks for the tip about the seats being released for December 3rd... I managed to get Row C in the stalls. WOW!
In terms George, Liam and the rest of the cast members leaving on this date; nothing has yet become definite, all that we know is the casts contracts do end on this date which is why the likelyhood is that we will be seeing the last performances of some of them!
If Liam and/or George is one of these, then I guess the new Billy(s) will take over on Monday 5th?
Mad About Billy - Thanks for joining the support of the Official Cast Recording, just add the following line in your signature "I support the Billy OCR campaign for 3 Billy recordings!"
Speaking of cast albums, I don't know about the rest of you but instead of the one Billy on the cd, what's everyone's thoughts if they mix them up? In my opinion... All 3 Recordings Please (see my signature).
Mad About Billy - I'm not to sure if Monday nights is just for Leon? It could have just been pot luck that this has been the case at the moment but I think the casting crew mixes their weekly schedules up.
Whoever you see, the show is FANTASTIC.

Cheers everyone for the news about Dec 3rd,unfortunatly i was at work when the news broke but luckilly for me a friend from this site has managed to sort me a ticket in row c!!! Thank you so much,it should be a very moving night.
I don't think any of the boys have particular nights,it's done on a rota system and you never know till you arrive at the theatre. I'm going this Thu afternoon and am hoping to see Leon for the first time but whoever plays Billy it's going to be a great show as always.
Also 100% NO MIXES and also please leave the dialogue in when possible.
Billy Chat!!
which of the billy's (Liam, Leon, James or George) is the BEST actor? in your opinion... just a little survey

caroline wot on earth av u done, did u know u r not allowed to ask that question on here.i can just see all the obsessives spitting fury at there screens now and of course all the little hitlers will insist ur banned.to answer the nasty horrible question anyway it is clearly and obviously liam is far and away the best.BAN MUSICALS FAN AND LM NOW.lol but seriously caroline u shud know better, free speech is dead.dec 3rd will b very sad night as the star of the show liam mower is leaving, just hope the new 2 r as good as liam and leon are.also lets hope no one spoils liams big night in the theatre and lets him do his usual proffessional performance in peace
wow. sorry.
*sobs*
i remeber the days when there were only a few Billy Elliot fans on the board... we beat each other up over the three Billy's... *sigh*
good times
At the moment, this may not be true. Liam Mower could be staying on along with some of the other cast members?!?!
I guess until a Press Release is issued we shouldn't jump to conclusions

Thanks London Boy about the alert over the tickets for December 3rd (evening). Several of us are now booked into row C stalls. Lets have a pre Christmas board members get together/ party or at least have a special presentation from the board to whichever Billy and cast members are leaving (Electricity you are a total tease on this).I for one would be very happy to make a donation. I hope very much that James and Ash will be down for that night as well. They deserve to be for all their great shows in the past and the fact that they are ( and will remain) integral to the Billy Elliot family.

Concerning the will george and liam stay after dec 3rd. To the best of my knowledge, although adults can stay on after their contracts expire, kids can't. This is because of laws concerning the childs education, and the fact the adults can have a renewed contract. Children are only meant to have a max run of 6 months on stage in the west end, so i doubt that they will stay after the 3rd
This is to all the girls out there who will audition to become ballet girls in just a few days - break a leg! Or, whatever you say... Just have fun, and maybe we'll see you on stage in december!

Is it true that this is the last time George and Liam will perform. And does anyone know who will actually be billy in that show in the evening? Thanks

Obvious answer, Liam then George then James. (Leon if you are including him would go after Liam).
Children are limited to a 6 month contract however there is nothing to stop them renewing for a second term. Liam and George by 3rd December will already have been performing for longer than 6 months.

I think that all you fans will be very happy with the cd that is coming out soon from the musical.
Dont let him fool you into repying. Its another wind up. As yet no final decision has been made. The only person that knows is Martin koch! and Stephen! Believe me I know.
