Wow. Nice increases across the boards. Was this PSQ’s highest grossing seek ever? Happy to see Company finishing strong! I predict their numbers will just keep getting higher for their final 2 weeks.

It is PSQ's best week, but still resulted in a substantial six figure loss on the week.

I’ve been playing lottery ever since reading those phenomenal reviews, and I won’t be surprised if it’s nearly impossible to win this summer. Those numbers really are astounding.

It's a shame ITW isn't likely to extend. Thinking it would do well if it ran until the end of the year.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

It must have recouped.

NYT says the capitalization is $24MM. And they've grossed $86.3MM over 29 weeks. Even if their operating cost was $2MM/week (and there's no way it's that high), they'd still have netted $28MM.

Even 'Funny Girl' saw a nice increase in ticket sales last week - I guess there are those theater-goers who want to see Beanie before she leaves at the end of the month.

After making the weekly nut, I am under the impression that all remaining moneys do not go to pay down the investment. I remembering reading eons ago that a sizable percentage goes to creatives. I assume that you are assuming that is covered in the $2MM, which would seem more than reasonable.

I seem to remember that Hello Dolly ended up turning a very small profit, but it’s grosses we’re significant less than MM. I am guessing it will have some very happy investors by the time it closes.

This is correct. In my theoretical figure of $2MM , I was referring to any and all moneys that are allocated before going toward the investment.

blaxx, would you please expand on this comment? I'm completely at a loss as to why anyone would say this, and I'm genuinely curious to hear your explanation.

By what metric are you inferring that Beetlejuice is not doing well? Is it because of an exorbitant running cost - if so, what would you estimate that to be?

Even if the show is too expensive to be sustained at these grosses, I'd still argue that the numbers are solid enough to constitute having "found an audience." It's obviously not the hard-core musical theatre fans who are keeping its grosses at $1MM/week.
