The info ljay posted is listen on telecharge.com, so that seems pretty definite.
How long before this thread gets deleted and then Eddie Varley posts a "breaking news" article announcing Springer's arrival???

How do you go from Jason Patrick Sands to Jerry Springer? The Chicago casting team boggles my mind.

JPS is the main u/s for Billy Flynn and there's a one week gap between Brent Barrett(last show 8/9) & Springer joining the cast(8/17). And Springer is only playing Billy for two weeks; 8/17 - 8/23 & 9/1 - 9/6.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I think he's taking 8/24 AND 8/31 off, not 8/24 THRU 8/31.

Will Jason be wearing a shirt as Billy?

^ Hopefully not
'Since when can Springer sing?'
The same can be said about 90% of the Chicago stunt cast actors. Like I said...this casting team boggles my mind.
ETA: God, if Jason doesn't wear a shirt...hopefully the same costume change won't apply to Jerry. Ew.

Being a good singer, actor or dancer is not a real requiremt for the Weisslers. As long as your name sells tickets you can be in Chicago.

What happened to Jason Patrick Sands' body? I'm sure he wasn't that muscular before.

It was kinda funny (Im a big Springer fan) so I went to the theatre yesterday and brought myself a ticket for Jerrys first night. I asked the guy if he had any aisle seats (I like them because I get to cross my leg over) and after looking he said I can give u the very first row aisle seat. I immediatly said YES! and he took my money and looked at me for a second and said..
"Now I need you to promise me something."
"Sure what?"
"Promise me your not getting the aisle seat so you can run on stage and try to fight Jerry"
I just started laughing. He was dead serious.
I dont think there gonna advertise this alot because the guy asked me where I heard about it and I told him this website and I said how come I didnt see any signs or anyting promoting him and he told me it would be a waste just to promote someone whos doing this for 2 weeks.
I dont really consider this "Stunt Casting" then. I think more a favor to Springer who just really wanted to perform on Broadway (Although ticket sales from him appering obv. they wouldnt mind that)

I'm probably going to catch Jason Patrick Sands as Billy, next Sunday. Sadly, he will be clothed. I can't wait though.

The person I'd REALLY like to see step in as Billy Flynn is Joe Mantegna, who hasn't done a Broadway musical in 30 years.
