The performance started late today but I agree, it ran closer to 2 hours.
The house was only 3/4 full just before curtain time but it pretty well filled up after the performance started. That means there was plenty of late seating. It was annoying.

I just got a ticket for Thursday's performance for $29 on TodayTix.
It's nice to see such positive word of mouth!

word of mouth, baby. just bought TDF tickets for this weekend.
For those who have already seen it, any seating recommendations?
I saw people leaving the theater yesterday and everyone seemed to be laughing and in a great mood. I really can’t wait to see this one.
Saw it on Saturday for the $29 rush. Loved it! It was really, really good.

This is one that I will wait to see until after reviews unless it's free. This team is lucky they aren't publishing grosses this season; sales, predictably, look abysmal."
It is amazing! We've seen it twice and the audience was laughing, crying, and more, and everyone leaped to their feet at the curtain call. Don't miss it!

Because it's a brilliant comedy that has some broad / farcical aspects but also richly deep and emotional moments.

Really enjoyed this! Went in with no idea of what to expect but ended up laughing and crying and feeling full afterwards. Amazing cast with most making their Broadway debuts. I thought the direction and physical production was a little sloppy, but overall really great. So heartfelt.
I'm so glad people are loving this. I think it speaks to what people want on Broadway right now. To laugh and feel joy. And that talent?! Wowza!
Jordan, yes the Rush was at the box office.

Where were the seat locations? Did you show up in the morning when box office opened or did you stop by later in the day?
My seat was in the front row AA, right in the center. On Saturday, I got to the box office at 9:30am, and when they opened at 10am, it was me and 1 other person.

Really, there are no bad seats in that theater and quite a few scenes are played in the aisles.
Has anyone sat in the $29 seats on TodayTix? Trying to figure out if I want to buy them, get them through TDF or try and hopefully win lotto.

I would go with TDF. I've got prime seats in middle orchestra row C when I went last week. TodayTix has high fees for $29 tickets.

I did the $29 TodayTix and was placed front row center.

I bought the TodayTix $29 seats for tonight and got center of row b on the right side
REJOICE! “Chicken & Biscuits” is EXACTLY what Broadway needs right now. I’ve been waiting so long to be in a theater filled with people where we all laugh so hard that we cry.
There were very few empty seats in the house tonight, which made me very very happy. If there’s any justice in this world right now, the show will find an audience and become a sellout hit.
