going with TDF for this weekend. cant wait. and really find it hard to believe there are any bad seats at Circle in the Square for a play like this.

I just received my ticket for tonight (via TodayTix) and it's front row center (row AA). Excited for the show!

Agreed!! I just got back from tonight's performance and I implore everyone to see this show ASAP!
The whole cast was great, but Ebony Marshall-Oliver was on another level of greatness.
The show was not quite sold out, but the vast majority of seats were filled, so hopefully word of mouth keeps spreading and this show gets the love it really deserves.

Yes, Jordan! Truly one of the funniest performances I’ve seen in a long, long time.

We all laughed, cried, gasped, snapped, whooped, and shouted AMEN! There was not one weak link in the cast and you felt truly invested in all of them at one point or another.
HOWEVER, this is what creates a problem in terms of pacing. At just North of two hours, there was a lot going on and so many personalities to keep track of that whenever another subplot is brought back into focus, you think “Oh right, that was also hapoening”. It definitely needs to be tightened up or given an intermission, but once the pacing is fixed, this could become the surprise sleeper hit of the season

I know one of the cast members and when he learned I was planning to see the play again, he suggested I see it from a different location. With the staging this show is being given, he feels it'll feel like a different show from a different seat.

I did the same with Once On This Island. Tried to see it from multiple locations. I did find a seat that I thought had the best view of the entire theatre and oddly enough it’s in the very last row.

I think that's a great idea! I did find myself at times wishing my eyes could look in two directions at once during the group scenes. Sometimes the cast members who aren't the focus of the scene do very funny asides, which garnered laughter/reactions from the part of the audience who was able to see those moments directly.

count me as another voice urging you to run/don't walk to see this. When, out of nowhere, the show was announced, a friend invited me to join him for opening night. I said yes but was skeptical about the show. Then I started hearing ecstatic reviews from everyone I knew who had seem it (literally and on here) so I decided I could not wait to see it. I'll happily go back on the 10th.
