Phantom (not to be confused with Phatom of the Opera)
And I like CATS and Miss Saigon, but because I was in both of them, I have had enough of the two of them to last me a lifetime. The only way you'd get me to listen to my CATS cd again is if its a John Doyle revival, just so i can imagine a Grizabella with a trombone

Marry Me a Little and Bounce. I'm not sure I have given Bounce a fair chance. I don't think I could get through the whole thing, and like a lot of Sondheim, it could take several listens to enjoy.

Notre-Dame de Paris with Tina Arena. I heard 2 songs (The Bells and The Refugees) online and ran out and bought it. I just can't listen to this CD all the way through. I have tried. I even rented the DVD thinking that I might like it better after seeing it. I couldn't even watch the show all the way through. And I really knew I made a mistake because Celine Dion opens the CD with Live for the One I Love.

I don't really regret buying these, but I hardly listen to them and pretty much don't like the songs:
The Color Purple
Dreamgirls OBC (I thought Deena was annoying, but otherwise it was okay. I enjoyed the movie version more for some of the songs)
The Light in the Piazza (alright, I like it better now than before)
Sweeney Todd (that's getting better as well)

I LOVE THE COLOR PURPLE.
One that I REALLY regret purchasing, however, is JOHN & JEN.

The Woman In White - Worst thing I have ever bought. I was very underwhelmed by the score and frankly bored to death.
Sweeney Todd 2006 Revival - I know some people loved this, but I HATE the cast and I hate the new orchestrations. I am not a minimalist when it comes to Sweeney. I'd go for Prince and Tunick any day over this.

A lot of you guys are mentioning Bounce. I also hated it on first listen. But I must say after a couple more spins it really becomes addictive.

The only ones I regret buying is the 1997 revival cast recording of CANDIDE (There are MUCH better recordings!) and Jay Record's STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF (This was before the Anthony Newely cast recording was back in print). I rarely listen to TOVARICH, SKYSCRAPER, RUNAWAYS, SWING!, or FOSSE (Why on EARTH did I buy the cast recording?! I should have bought the video!)
Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

I wouldn't say I *regret* buying any of my recordings, but there are a few I rarely listen to:
BROOKLYN OBC
GODSPELL 2001 touring cast (I just haaaaate the orchestrations XP)
THE LION KING OBC
A VERY MERRY UNAUTHORIZED CHILDREN'S SCIENTOLOGY PAGEANT (I don't really enjoy children onstage; I'd much rather have adults playing kids a la 'Spelling Bee')
But I still enjoy owning them. I'm a hoarder. ^_^

I don't regret anything I've bought, but there are definitely some recordings that I rarely listen in their entirety:
Chicago movie soundtrack - I listen to it only for I Move On, because I can't stand Renee Zellweger
Rent, OBC and movie - Seasons of Love, One Song Glory, and the movie version of Out Tonight (can't stand Daphne Rubin Vega) are the only songs I listen to
Spring Awakening - (Mama Who Bore Me, Bitch of a Living, and Totally F*CKed are the only ones I listen to)
Urinetown - listened to it twice: once at the show (which I didn't enjoy) and once on CD
Wicked - I only listen to it when my friends (who love Wicked) are playing it.

The cast recordings I regret buying are:
Evita 20th Anniversary Edition (I think it's a re-release of the OLC) - I don't like Colm Wilkinson's Che.
Les Miserables French concept album - I don't know what possessed me to buy an album in a language I don't understand.
Woman In White - Because I hardly ever listen to it.

Aida - With the exception of 1 or 2 numbers, I generally hated this recording. The songs themselves just seemed very bland to me. Heather, Sherie, and Adam are all great but IMHO even they aren't enough to warrant listening through all those songs. I don't even know where it is.
Wicked- Same thing. I haven't listened to this one in quite some time.
Les Miz OBCR - After getting the 10th anniversary concert recording it was just impossible to go back to this one.
Tarzan - Another recording I don't really care for. I put the one or two songs I liked onto my ipod and that was it. I don't know what I did with this CD either. It's probably in the same place as my Aida recording.

Bright Lights, Big City is my big one, I only listen to the tracks with Ebersole, I should've just bought them on iTunes.
