Anyone know how hard is it to get a single rush ticket close to showtime lately?

I saw this on November 17th with a friend. We have laughed at least 10 times since then just recalling James T. Lane's performance as the jury. He is so good that it is almost scary especially that tongue thing he does.

Easy. Alex & Kate aren't selling out the show but it's seemed to breathe new life into it.

Robyn Hurder is returning to CHICAGO as Velma for a 4-week stint from Dec. 15 through Jan. 11. Sophia Carmen-Jones will return Jan. 12.

Robyn Hurder and Kate Baldwin on stage together sounds like heaven, to be honest.

This. I completely agree. I will be going back to see them together in January.

Hurder's Velma is fantastic. Top 3 in my book along with Deidre Goodwin and Leigh Zimmerman.

I think this trio of Hurder, Baldwin and Newell is going to finally get me back to see Chicago after 20 years. My one complaint is I really hate most of the period wigs they use in the show now. I thought part of what made this revival so cool when it opened was the sleek and modern hairstyles. I don't understand why the entire production looks modern except for the hair now.

still shocking that Chicago was, once again, the only Broadway show playing last night, and they once again had a sellout.

I’d just like to thank Barry and Fran for saving me from spending money on their show for the foreseeable future.

I'm going to try and see it again when Hurder returns. The quartet of Hurder/Baldwin/Mutu/Newell seems to go. Maybe I'll luck out and get Max Clayton or James T. Lane as Billy.

I won’t have any shekels left for Chicago in February because I will be going back to see Kate again with Robyn.
However, I will say that I thought Whitney should have won DWTS and I don’t know anything about that Mormon wife show. She worked very hard on DWTS and had simply gorgeous lines. She really was my favorite so I am happy for her.

Honestly pissed they couldn’t snap up Elaine Hendrix instead. THAT would’ve been a Roxie worth seeing. Any time they bring in a famous-for-being-famous reality star (Housewives/Mormon Wives…that sub genre), I roll my eyes. Granted, it’s what helps keep the Weisslers able to run Chicago endlessly - they will not pay big bucks for anyone and so they can get these types for high name value at a low price.
