"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I don't know. The show is playing to 50% capacity houses now. With no names lined-up for the Winter, it'll be even worse.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I agree with Blaxx. While there is cause for concern and caution, "Chicago" and its endurance reminds me of Cher. Both are equally indestructible.

Tonight's show appears to be on as it's up at TKTS. Let's see if it happens.

Is Bianca back, too? She just did an interview with Theatermania, so I'd assume she's all clear.

I hope Emma Pittman gets a chance as Roxie...sooner rather than later.

I haven't seen this in quite a while. Chicago 1976 Tony Awards...with an introduction by Jane Fonda. https://youtu.be/oF0I-9p_yDM

"Chicago" veteran Christophe Caballero is joining the cast as a Mary Sunshine standby. I'm not sure how long he'll be there, but he knows every inch of the Fosse style.

This is great as Mary Sunshine’s dance numbers are sheer iconic Bob Fosse so we can expect his interpretations to be layered with subtext.
I asked him about his stay at the Ambassador. He said he'd be the Mary Sunshine standby until early January. (I hope J. London is o.k.)

A few days ago, Drew Nellessen went on as Amos Hart...per his IG picture. It seems that the show has a very large pool of former cast members who can go help out, in the event of any casting emergency.

Sunday had J. London as Mary Sunshine and Denny Paschal was also out. All four swings were on both shows Sunday as well.

Both Ana Villafane and Bianca Marroquin finish their current run in "Chicago" on Jan. 9th. My guess for a Velma Kelly replacement could be Terra C. (There aren't that many available Velmas out there.) Lana Gordon in playing Persepone (at certain performances) in Hadestown. For Roxie, I wish Emma Pittman finally gets her debut after about a 2 year wait. I see that Jennifer Fouche is listed as Matron Mama Morton on the official website. Lillias White just ended her run. Another fabulous Mama Morton is Hayley Swindal. Some time ago, she sang to me in a Cameo video. Her singing is phenomenal!
