Rush is $36. It's on the expensive end of the rush/SRO spectrum, but still cheap enough and FAR more worth it than seeing a less-fulfilling show for $20 or $25 even if it's cheaper.
Plus, the seats are usually front row.
just bought my student rush tickets for the 2pm show. got side box, not bad considering I tried to get A Chorus Line at TKTS and they only had partial view. I hope Raul is on.

How was the rush today?
I'm going on Sunday - Left Orchestra D
I think the rush on Sunday is going to start at sunrise
i already saw the show a few times.. once with comps the others were $36.00 seats and they moved us to 1st row center mezz because it was empty. This time, I bought row F in the rear mezz for sunday. I am so sad =(
I am going Sunday (will be my third time) I am bringing my mom. She hasn't seen it and wants to see it. Um she thinks I got them discount because she would kill me if I told her I paid full price seeing as I just bought a house and I am a teacher who has no income coming in during the summer...
misschung I am also sitting Orchestra Row D left side

I'll see you there
I am selfish and only bought 1 ticket for myself. I hope the weather's nice on Sunday
The weather is supposed to be gorgeous on Sunday. It rained when Sweeney closed, which I suppose sort of fit, but it's shaping up to be a nice, if bittersweet, afternoon.
is it me or is this week really going fast....Sunday is going to be nice weather(unlike the steambath that it is today) and sad

yeah, it is. cute pic!
thanks
The week IS flying by. which scares me a bit. :/ It's been a long love affair for me. I'm so sad it's ending.
be sure to post reviews! i really wish i could be there.
btw, does anyone know if any of the cast members have blogs? it'd be interesting to read their thoughts during the last leg of the run.
Well I am hoping they do tape it for PBS...if they do I have a feeling I am gonna wear out that dvd

I know there are a lot of factors in deciding on when to open your show on Broadway, but I feel it was a mistake to open the show so early in the season (in addition to billing Raul over the title).
I'm being rather immature right now, but...
thesbijean - shaddap. Really. Not the time or place.
I have tickets for tomorrow. The two shows I'm actually paying full price for are that and Sunday...

Hmm let's see...
I don't see any regulation barring me from posting on Wednesday afternoons, and this is a message board, so, it actually IS the time and place.
Don't be mad at me that the producers marketed the show poorly and opened it too early.
This is a thread devoted to talking about the last few days of rush/performance, not a chance to spew negativity about anything to do with the production. Your post has almost nothing to do with the previous messages. The show is closing, let its fans have their moment sharing factual information.
Sorry you guys, I’ve forgotten when to keep my mouth shut on this board.
Aw, and I was just saying how nice it was that things had been peaceful.
Nobody's mad at you for the producing and publicity mistakes -- that's an absurdly immature rebuttal because as it's obviously not the case, you're refuting something... well, fake -- but at a time when I can only assume emotions are running high and patience thin, it's perhaps not the best time to bring up a sore subject.
*waves hand* I'm not only depresed, cynical, and sarcastic, I'm also neurotic and I speak way too soon!
Anyone back from the matinee today?
