That I can deal with! I thought there might have been theater outages - But I hope everyone gets home okay.
I have been out of touch (and out of town) all day.

Yeah, I definitely missed the train to the city tonight. f*cking conductor saw me running and knocking on the door and started the train and left anyway.
No extra Company viewing tonight

Oh,my, that was harsh of him, misschung.
I'll be there Sunday. Upper Mezz. I sat downstairs the other 3 times, so I can deal with sitting upstairs then.
I will be there on sunday as well. Front mezzanine. I have never been to a closing performance on Broadway before. I'm excited to see the show again but really sad for Raul and the rest of the cast. At least they had a decent length run in this one and a reasonable advanced closing notice. Unlike the fiasco that was closing day of Normal Heart...

why, what happened during the closing of Normal Heart?
There was no advanced notice when the revival closed; the cast was informed the day of that that evening would be their final performance.

I'll be there.
oy, i'm thinking about "camping out" for rush, even though today they reduced the rush to just the sides of the front row (row BB) and then the boxes...front row center were all full price.
i have seats in the rear mezz, but i'll be so bummed if i miss out on getting a better seat!
That's for the rest of the run? You're kidding me. That nearly slices the number of rush seats in half, which is a problem given that everyone and their mother has waited until the show's about to close to see it.
Aww, it's like Sweeney all over again.
I would go if I could. Have fun everyone! Wooot. :)
I'll be there too! Laughing and crying.
Thanks for answering luvtheemcee, that was precisely what happened. and yeah misschung, that is exactly right. This thread has made me realize though, no matter how short the run or circumstances surrounding closing of a truly great show, the experience of being emotionally moved for the two + hours you have seen the show is a gift that you take with you and always have. There are very few shows I walk out of and say "that's why I want to do theater". Company was one of them. (So was Normal Heart) So may the cast and crew always be proud of themselves for giving that experience to so many people.
I'll be there!!! Right Orchestra Row H seat 6 if anyone wants to come and say hello!! I'll be the short, brown haired girl. :)
I woke up sick. I need to be well this weekend.

Since I unfortunately wont be able to attend Sundays show, I have decided to try Rush tomorrow (Friday). Can anyone tell me a good time to get to the box office for front row tickets?
Poopsie, I went Tuesday, and I got there at 1:30 (they opened at 4), and I was second on line. I'd advise getting there pretty early, since it is one of the last performances. There was a whole thread about this, but I can't seem to find the link right now. For Friday...maybe 12? (Ask Emcee, she knows muich more than I do)
The first seats they give out (or at least gave out first yesterday) were in Row BB which is the second row but on the sides instead of the center.
I got there yesterday a little bit before three and was fourth in line. Between 12 and 1 should be fine for tomorrow.

Em - sending all sorts of "get well" energy your way.
what time are people thinking for sunday rush??
I wish I could be there! Say goodbye for me :)
So if those of you who've purchased tickets decide to rush.... what do you plan on doing with your other tickets? I sincerely hope you're not just letting them go unused.
