I'm in heaven..... and I started watching late. I was going to wait until the DVR was done taping but I couldn't wait. I'm watching it on a fuzzy normal reception now though, but Friday..... HD BABY!!!
Yeah, I'm watching in HD now, it's real purty.
Ooh, here comes Not Getting Married...
Another HD watcher here. It's heaven.
Heather is effing hilarious here.

Love Heather on this song. Though I actually preferred Jane in the role.
I'm so used to the cast album I forgot about the bit where she screams and hides under the piano. This is why I wish more shows were preserved--the great little things you'll never remember. What a great song, great scene, and great performer.

Ooh, another bleep!
Eris, what was bleeped for you?
That wasn't a bleep. She whispers "And don't tell Paul".
Same question.
When was Heather's dress changed in the show?
she gets naked onstage.
...there was a costume change?

I think they switched within the first few months of 2007. I can't remember exactly.
Oh. I see what you mean, now. Neeeever mind.
God, this show has such brilliant writing. Obsessed with Heather Laws completely now. The show has really grown on me since the beginning of the first act.
I never liked Marry Me a Little...don't know why, since it's got a nice tune and serves some purpose decently. Raul is great as in any song, though.

i so disagree. this is so incredible. god i love that song. and raul. just saw him in the homecoming last week.
Woah, it's Big Bird.
Well, I think I'll save act 2 for tomorrow. I got school tomorrow...
G'night everyone!
I missed the middle part of the first act because of a stupid meeting, but I'm watching it now, and forgot how much I completely love this show, and John Doyle's vision for it. Such beautiful orchestrations.

Almost better than seeing it at the Barrymore.
This production and John Doyle are genius. This is a resonant, smart, funny, but not snobbish production.
Enthralled. This is what good theater is supposed to be. Reading ATC you would think that someone just took a dump on Sondheim and the American theater in general, but now I know why I don't post there. I try to stay away from websites populated by people with single digit IQs.
